I have been struggling with mild to moderate hearing loss from a young age. I often feel a little embarrassed when wearing those conventional hearing aids and have to cover them with my hair so others can’t see. I ordered this hearing aids because of the design as it looks just like a normal earphone. I was concerned at first if it works as well as the conventional ones, but I was amazed by it! It not only looks stylish but also amplify the sound really well! It doesn’t pick up noise around me which is great! Also, the microphone transmitter comes in handy when I’m watching TV at home. Had some issues with feedback when I first had it out of the box. Contacted their customer service and they were quick to respond and told me how to fix the issue. The solution they provided (charging the case) worked and the feedback went away. The product itself provides clear sounds that really amplified other people's voices. Also, I'm a younger person and its great that it doesn't look like a "traditional" hearing aid.

Happy with the quality of these. I had been using Eargos until the batteries wore out. Should be FIVE stars, however, the batteries are limited to about six hours on a full charge. They came missing extra ear domes, I let the vendor know and they shipped some right away. Bottom line: great sound, not enough battery.

I sometimes have trouble hearing speaking voices, so I thought this would be worth a try. The earbuds fit comfortably, no problem with that. The sound is unnatural when using the earbuds on their own. The earbuds pick up a lot ambient noise. Banging, sorting through papers, typing on the keyboard…they come through extremely loud. Some music causes feedback and a whirring sound. Sometimes the sound is choppy. I don’t like that my own voice is amplified. When I’m talking it drowns out the sounds I’m trying to hear and all I hear is me. I can sometimes hear me breathing through the earbuds. The volume is hard to adjust on the earbuds – it’s not always responsive. Using the remote transmitter is a lot better. It’s easy to pair. The volume is easier to control. The remote transmitter’s sound is akin to listening to TV/radio through a telephone. Still, the sounds are clearer than the earbuds alone. This is my first try at this type of technology, but I think it could be a lot better.

I did have some troubles with feedback with this unit, which seems to be a common problem that people run into. Close to the audio source. And the clarity is actually better than some of the other OTC hearing aids. I've tried. However, it is hard to compare them. Even though it's not insoluble, they really should fix these so that they don't have feedback. It is possible to put anti-feedback controls into these units, and they do have some anti-feedback I think, but it's not quite enough. They should work out of the box without having to call customer service.
