This tool saved me a lot more work, or hundreds of dollars. The release valve on my air compressor broke off inside. I tried other methods to get it out. This is the only thing that worked. I tapped it in pretty solidly and then turned it out with a wrench. I applied WD40 before hand.

Look to be a good quality kit. Hope I don’t have to use them but it will be nice to have them when the time comes. Nice having a matching drill for each extractor. Gearwrench always seems to be a good value.

Nice little extraction set. Bite hard and strong enough for most stubborn bolts. Just make sure not to use to small of a bit on to big of bolt and your good. Very happy

I tried drilling out some bolts in my manifold. I was afraid that the extractors would break. Looks nice, but I don’t think it’s good for doing manifold bolts or any kind of boats that were under a lot of heat.

JUNK! I bought these to remove some broke bolts on my front drive shaft flange. Drilled to the specified 3/16” hole. Lightly tapped the specified extractor for an M10 into the hole. Applied a 3/8” ratchet (on my belly under the truck) and snapped the end right off! Ended up pulling the flange off the pinion and taking it into my shop to work upright. Wiggled the broke extractor out, drilled to the next bigger size, no dice. Went back to my old left handed spiral extractor and got 2 of 3 out. Ended up having to heli coil 2 out of 4 holes. Done waste money on these, stick with the old tried and true spiral extractors ... show more
