    • Seller's customer service to resolve problem with unit
Amplifier significantly improved hearing sounds in the ear with the greatest loss. The unit is generally comfortable and unobtrusive. While I don't know how my improved hearing would compare with a custom hearing aid, I am very satisfied with the results for the significantly lower investment. My only criticism is the distorted and disturbing sound produced when pieces of metals or other objects are jangled together (e.g. a set of dog tags, or keys on a key ring). It results in a sharp clashing sound thru the amplifier. I am especially impressed by the company's customer service. After about a month of using the device, it seemed to stop working. Despite being fully charged it was not amplifying any sounds nor could I verify that it was actually turning and staying on when I pushed the power button. Within 1 day of sending the seller an email via Amazon concerning either a refund or return of the unit I received the seller's response offering a free replacement. However, the seller recommended that I follow its instructions to test whether the unit was actually amplifying sound (even if it wasn't being heard), and then to clean the ear piece which might have been causing the sound blockage. After completing the testing and cleaning the unit was fully working. ... show more

    • A COMPANY THAT WORKS "WITH" YOU!
I had bad luck with my first order, but,,, the company stood by their product, worked with me and I got a second one... My problem with second one was the small tube seemed to be too short and the device sat on top of my ear, I have big ears.. That bothered my glasses... I was able to wear this much longer than the first one, battery issues with the first, so that may be why I noticed it. Also,, be sure to check, I didn't,,, because this company makes several models for different degrees of hearing loss.. So,, I couldn't hear very well,,,, read what the company tells about all their lines.. So,, I don't use any dome,,, I just put the tip in my ear.... No background noise, perfect.. If the tip rubs, I cut off the whole dome and just leave the tip.. THIS IS TOTALLY "MY" IDEA,, "NOT" THE COMPANY. You're one your own if you do this. I suggest you buy from this company,, you won't be sorry,,,, there could not be better customer service! But, in the end I did return it... At a layer date I may try one of there more expensive amplifiers,,, but not right now. ... show more

I've only had them a short while and find that the ear buds will take some time to get used to. It's very important to get the correct size buds in your ear or you'll get feed back. They do give you a pretty good assortment to choose from though. The one time i've driven in a vehicle with them in, it seemed like I got alot of background noise. I will continue to wear them for now. I haven't had any other hearing aids to compare these to, so I may be expecting too much to begin with. Update: I was never able to get used to the buds and have since returned it. In my opinion, they produce too much background noise, the mode switch doesn't do much to help with that. I ware eye glasses and the device made my ear stick out also, not uncomfortable but very noticeable when I wore a hat. I might try the in ear style buds...we'll see. It realy helps hearing what you've been missing... I like the quietness of back noises, but it buzzes often and l have hard time figuring out why, after trying everything.... I do wish the tech help would be available by phone or by web chat....my update will follow after contacting the company. Hoping for good outcome😊 UPDATE: I received a response withon few hours after submitting my email in which l explained my problem. Their response was polite and caring. I was instructed to send my hearing amplifier back and before they could ever get it, they sent me a new one, with accesories. It works well, and as l said before, the quality of hearing with tjis device is amazing. I highly recomend this company for the way they stand behind their product and for their outstanding customer services. ... show more

I'm a male in my early 50's and have hereditary hearing loss. My doctor had been saying I needed a hearing aid since my late 40s but I was reluctant thinking I was too young to be getting one - a sign of weakness, blah, blah, blah. Thing is I'm not at all that type of guy that has to present a strong image, so I finally decided to get over myself and purchase one. Intimidated by the high prices of the "real" ones, and especially because I had never had one before, I decided on this model. I've heard the stories of how even the real ones never work right, etc. so figured this more fiscally attainable model was the way to start. Well, I really like it. I use it in the ear that has more hearing loss and I find that after seven months using it, I will never go back to not using something. It's very discreet - my wife on many occasions thought I was not wearing it when I was. This was even back in early March 2020, pre-Covid, when I had short hair. The only thing I have issues with are the domes. I find that the large ones are too large, but the next smallest size are too small. This is a very personal issue so it's not really a fault of the unit. I end up using one size for a period of time, then switching to the other for a bit. I can't seem to make up my mind which works better. I still have to use captioning on the TV but I think that's more habit now. I keep the volume much lower now: I went from a 32/33 to a 20/21 on my Vizio. That probably doesn't mean anything to anybody, but there it is anyway. I keep the hearing aid unit at mid-volume level as well. One more thing is that the company has great customer service. I've used them twice - once to inquire about different dome sizes and another time because the unit stopped working (turns out I went too long without cleaning it - worked again right after doing so) and they always respond next day via email and will listen to you and work with you.
