I'm a male in my early 50's and have hereditary hearing loss. My doctor had been saying I needed a hearing aid since my late 40s but I was reluctant thinking I was too young to be getting one - a sign of weakness, blah, blah, blah. Thing is I'm not at all that type of guy that has to present a strong image, so I finally decided to get over myself and purchase one. Intimidated by the high prices of the "real" ones, and especially because I had never had one before, I decided on this model. I've heard the stories of how even the real ones never work right, etc. so figured this more fiscally attainable model was the way to start. Well, I really like it. I use it in the ear that has more hearing loss and I find that after seven months using it, I will never go back to not using something. It's very discreet - my wife on many occasions thought I was not wearing it when I was. This was even back in early March 2020, pre-Covid, when I had short hair. The only thing I have issues with are the domes. I find that the large ones are too large, but the next smallest size are too small. This is a very personal issue so it's not really a fault of the unit. I end up using one size for a period of time, then switching to the other for a bit. I can't seem to make up my mind which works better. I still have to use captioning on the TV but I think that's more habit now. I keep the volume much lower now: I went from a 32/33 to a 20/21 on my Vizio. That probably doesn't mean anything to anybody, but there it is anyway. I keep the hearing aid unit at mid-volume level as well. One more thing is that the company has great customer service. I've used them twice - once to inquire about different dome sizes and another time because the unit stopped working (turns out I went too long without cleaning it - worked again right after doing so) and they always respond next day via email and will listen to you and work with you. It realy helps hearing what you've been missing... I like the quietness of back noises, but it buzzes often and l have hard time figuring out why, after trying everything.... I do wish the tech help would be available by phone or by web chat....my update will follow after contacting the company. Hoping for good outcome😊 UPDATE: I received a response withon few hours after submitting my email in which l explained my problem. Their response was polite and caring. I was instructed to send my hearing amplifier back and before they could ever get it, they sent me a new one, with accesories. It works well, and as l said before, the quality of hearing with tjis device is amazing. I highly recomend this company for the way they stand behind their product and for their outstanding customer services.

Bad quality product. I brought the product three times for my old dad. I imagine that the previous ones were defective so was keep buying them. But I was wrong. The product itself is bad quality. The dome doesn't work properly. Also the critical problem is, it beeps all the time as soon as you wear it. It doesn't charge properly. It never worked and if you wear it, you might get frustrated with the beeps. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product. I bet you will definitely lose your money.

It charges quickly with a standard USB charger. Sounds great compensating for my hearing loss. Inexpensive. Comfortable with a variety of ear pieces. The microphone is on the top of the main body that sits behind the ear, which seems to work well but is still subject to a feedback squeal if you get anything close to it such as your hand or reclining against a cushion. This is probably unavoidable in this type of hearing amplifier. My unit quit working after 9 months but is replaced under the 3 year warranty. Warranty response by email has been immediate, same day. Overall I think this unit is a great value and performs well. No reason for me to buy expensive hearing aids. I am also impressed by the interior mechanical and electronic design. Unlike most of such devices, this one is very easy to open up for service such as replacing the battery if you have any electronics experience. It is a soldered connection. But it is an easy 10 minute procedure.

Having previously been using high-end hearing aids, I really wanted these to work out for me. One of my very pricey hearing aids quit and was not repairable, so I gave these a shot. These units were small, comfortable, and amplified sound nicely. What didn't work for me was the noise cancellation. My biggest hearing issue is in noisy environments - trying to carry on a conversation in crowded rooms or in the car driving at highway speeds. These didn't seem to cancel out such background noise, but rather just amplified it along with all other sounds. Thus, for me, they didn't work out.

I bought for my husband after his prescription ones failed for the 2nd time. He really likes them and had me turning the volume down on the TV. The customer service is excellent they really stand by their product. I am editing this as we now on our 4th replacement. They seem to last only a couple of months!
