I have chronic back pain and had been using a drugstore heating pad that I had for years. Noticing it was not getting warm; I went searching for something new. What drew me to this product was the length, looked comfortable and that it was easily moveable to wherever you may need to apply heat. It was a great decision to get this! The package came in perfect condition, obviously was not used prior. There was no smell to it. The blue is the same color that is shown in the picture, it has not faded at all after having for a few months. This heating pad heats up within seconds of turning it on. It is very easy to click the button to 1 of the 3 temperature settings. I first tried the high setting...it was too hot for me. The medium setting provides plenty of heat and its stays that warm the entire time. Sometimes, if I get to hot I will turn it to low, which I still find it helps with the pain. I have accidently fallen asleep while laying on it so thank goodness there is a 2 hour shut off. Laying on it as much as I have, it still seems to have held up well as it still looks new. Besides my back, I have used it to put my legs on when they felt restless which I do think helped later that evening to fall asleep. I have also wrapped it around my stomach when having pains. So nice to have such a large heating pad that can be used anywhere. I really hope it continues to work as well as it is because I love it and use it several nights a week.

I've used this hearing pad a few times since buying it and it is the nicest heating pad I've ever had! The material is made of feels like a very soft velvet-like covering, and it's flexible enough to fit anywhere on me that needs some heat therapy. There are 3 heat settings and I toggle between 1 and 2, but just for feedback's sake, number 1 send slightly too cool but setting number 2 is a little more heat than I needed. I wouldn't even venture to say was setting 3 feels like. Cord length is just right too. All in all, it's durable, it helps my chronic muscle pain and definitely worth the price.

I like this heating pad, but it's not perfect. It's really soft and flexible enough that it contours to your back or can drape from your shoulders, if needed. I like that it warms up quickly. However, I have to just use the "low" setting, because any higher than that and it's extremely hot. The controller also gets really, really hot - so much so that it seems like it could burn you if left near your skin for a few minutes. The 2-hour shut off is nice and works well. The cord is a good length and gives you room to maneuver around if an outlet is a little ways away. And I love the large size that can warm up my entire back at once! Overall, I wish there were lower heat settings and that the controller box didn't heat up so much, but it does work well and I love large size. 3.5 stars.

I ordered this second large heating pad to ease the muscle aches from chemotherapy. This producer uses a thermostat which gives a higher temperature than other models on the market and for me is ideal to offset the pains in both legs after phys. therapy and walking. Unfortunately, this unit stopped working after 80 days and did not reheat after following the steps in the owner's manual. I called the manufacturers TFN and after the customer services reviewing additional information via e-mails DURING SUPERBOWL SUNDAY AFTERNOON will be sent a replacement via two-day delivery at no charge. 2TN - Chicago

If you are like me and you forget you are no longer an athlete, add this to your recovery plan. It is a great heat pad and big enough to be a blanket for most normal sized people. It is a robust quality, heats up really well, and has a great maintenance of heat. Worth the price of admission, and helps those muscle aches lingering from your glory days go away quick.

It heats up quickly and provides steady, comforting warmth for my back and neck pain. The fabric is soft and feels nice against the skin along eith auto shut off. I really like the adjustable heat settings it lets me choose just the right level of warmth.

This made a huge difference for me when I pulled me back and I was struggling with some temporary back pain. It doesn't work great though. The controller heats up a lot. The differences between the levels are don't seem very consistent. Low takes a while to heat up but can get really hot. High heats up fast but then at times it feels cooler than low. It can be way too easy to turn on by accident or change the level by accident so be very careful. I know it was turned on and left on by accident multiple times. It definitely works but I feel like there has to be a safer/easier to control blanket available.
