Okay, I'm a bit late to this 'automatic litter box' party... ! What a great idea! But after looking at many different ones, and asking friends what they did and didn't like, I was kind of overwhelmed. Then this one 'showed up' at a really great price, so I decided to try it. I like that it's not freaking *HUGE*, like some I've seen. I like that it's pretty quiet. I'm blown away by the fact that it just doesn't smell...at all! And it's got a great system for catching the clumped litter, which goes into the liner, and then it's easy to remove the tray, cinch the liner bag and toss it in the trash. You have to use the right kind of litter (clay or mineral, not tofu or crystal), and you do have to read the directions, people (!!!), to understand how it works. Also, there's a piece you need to save for when you're going to do a major clean-out and dump all the litter. It covers the sifter openings so that all of the litter gets dumped out (instead of sifted again). From the reviews, some folks have thrown that piece away, so be aware. My only complaint is that the legs could be a bit more sturdy. But it's not a big problem.

Got the self-cleaning litter box for my cat to train him to go in one place. So far, it has been working out great, my cat has adjusted to stepping up to the litter box with no issues. The open top design is very smart, and the sensors ensure my cat's safety by making sure the device is empty before beginning to rotate to cleaning mode. Cleanup is very easy and I'm impressed at the low noise it makes during rotating to sift the waste. This auto cat litter box saves money and time cleaning. It fit will in my kitchen and there is no odor. My cat and I are very happy with this cat litter device.

I absolutely love this automatic self cleaning robot! It works really well and does a great job keeping the litter clean and fresh. My cat loves it and took to it with no issues. One of my favorite things is that when I come home, the litter area still smells good instead of having that strong litter box smell. It also isn’t too much work to maintain, which makes things so much easier for me. It has definitely made keeping up with my cat’s litter box much more convenient. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to other cat owners!

This thing is amazing. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. I didn’t want to spend Litter Robot money, but this is proof that just because it costs more, that doesn’t mean it’s better. This litter box is huge, easy to put together with straight forward instructions, it’s not silent but it’s not loud, and it even came with an extra waste bag latch in case you break the one that comes on it although it’s not cheaply made. A mat comes with it as well to collect litter that may get out. It only took about 5 steps to put it together & after that, you simply plug it in, fill it with litter up to or below the max fill line and press the button to level out the litter (also included in the instructions). The tray below it slides in and out effortlessly and it comes with a thick roll of plastic liner bags. My kitten used it immediately (he’s pretty fearless) and that encouraged my older cat to check it out. My older cat is a little skittish, so I was concerned about how she’d adapt, but all is well. The sensors work immaculately with knowing when a cat is inside or even peaking in (tested with my hand first). It stops the dumping cycle immediately and smoothly (without jerking or scaring the cats). It picks up where it left off after a few seconds of sensing no obstructions. Your only job is wiping the sensors every now and then and changing the bag in the waste tray. Only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the legs slide into the “sockets” easily, but they didn’t SNAP in if you know what I mean. Either way, the thing is still sturdy. It would’ve also been a 5/5 if it were completely silent. May be getting a second one still because for a hundred bucks, this was a win.

This is a very nice automatic self cleaning litter box. My cat was jumping in before I could get litter in. Very Quite. The price is so reasonable. When it empties, it's so quiet. I highly recommend this litter box. I have 15 lb. cats that make out fine with this litter box. I hope to get a couple more as soon as I financially can.

It works great and I have large cats! Easy to put together and I love that there is no app to install. Directions are clear and simple- love that too. Hint- if you are having a hard time getting your cats used to it, try leaving it off for a few weeks like a reg litter box and then use it in manual mode and then work your way up to auto mode. This has helped my kitties a lot. The wait is worth it in the end!

Save your money this “Self cleaning litter box” does just the opposite of its title. Everyday I end up scooping it like a regular litter box because for some reason it does not clean it properly it does not run a full cycle like my robot litter box from another company this one doesn’t get any scooping in the bin below it when it cycles because the machine stops before it can get there I’ve cycled it a few times to see if maybe my cats stopped it but nope it stops all on its own
