My wife and I love to make chicken pot pies and beef pasties. Although the pasties are technically a different shape, it's easy enough to use the same recipe and put them into a pie tin instead of hand-forming it into a pocket like a traditional pasty. Tastes great either way! When I first got these, I noticed that they were a little smaller than the tinfoil pans that I'd purchased from the store. Those came in a package of 6, and I reused all of them a couple of times. I was afraid that these smaller pans might yield pot pies that weren't quite enough for a meal, but it turns out that they were just right. They're approximately the same size I remember the old budget Banquet brand pot pies, but they're definitely smaller that the more upscale Marie Callender variety. I've used about 10 of them so far: 6 chicken pot pies, and 4 of my beef pasty-pies. Baked 'em on a pizza stone, right in the pan. They don't stick in the pans -- just turn the pie over onto a plate and it comes right out. Good eatin'! Bottom line: 50 of 'em for pretty cheap. Sturdy enough, big enough. Could use them two or three times if you want, or throw 'em away. ... show more

I like the size but went I was trying to press in the dough I disformed every tart pan, the bottom of half the pans I used were no longer flat and the edges weren’t circular, they bent very easily but this didn’t really impact the tarts, they still turned out really nice and it wasn’t expensive so I’m not mad ... show more
