But if you’re running a house with multiple dogs—especially a puppy like Leo who thinks everything on the floor is a snack—this Petsuper LitterGo is legitimately high-end hardware. I’ve used the $300 "budget" auto-boxes, and they all eventually turn into a jammed, stinking mess. This one actually feels like it was engineered by people who hate scooping as much as I do. The Breakdown Auto-Packing and Sealing (The Killer Feature): Most "self-cleaning" boxes just dump the waste into a drawer that you still have to open, smell, and empty. This unit actually bundles, seals, and replaces the bag for you. You just pull out a sealed plastic sausage of waste every 10–15 days. It’s as close to "zero contact" as you can get without hiring a full-time maid. Triple-Layer Safety: I was paranoid about the "cat-crusher" reputation of older auto-boxes. This one uses a combination of Radar, Weight, and TOF (Time of Flight) sensors. The second a cat even thinks about approaching while it’s mid-cycle, the whole thing stops dead. It’s sensitive enough that it hasn't even clipped a whisker. The "Dog Buffet" Prevention: With Tex and Bo roaming around, and Leo getting into everything, a standard litter box is just a target. The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, we do not have an area of the house away from the main living quarters to put our litter box. When our cat poops, the smell will often fill the first floor. On top of that, our small dog will sometimes go into the litter box and eat the cat's poop. I try to get my son to clean his cat's litter box every day but with his schedule, it is not always possible. This litter box solves all of our problems. Let's start with assembly. No tools are needed to assemble the litter box, but it does take a bit of time. The instructions in quick start guide are not very clear, so it took some time for me to figure it out with the user manual which is much more detailed. The odor eliminator tripped me up a little bit. There is an app you can download. It will give you notifications such that the cat is near, more litter is needed, and the feces tray needs to be emptied. The screen on the front of the litter box tells you the same thing but you have to check it regularly to get those updates. To empty the waste bin, you pull the drawer out, there is a bag inside that you twist, cut, remove the filled bag, and tie the bottom of the new feed so it can continue to catch the litter/feces. I have not looked at what a new roll of bags will cost however, I am assuming we will need to buy a new one through the company. The top left side of the litter box is where you add fresh litter. It is nice you can use your own litter. They give you 3 different litter sifters based on what type of litter you use. The litter box is super quiet. Once the cat leaves the little box, the machine knows to start working. It rotates the drum back and forth so it can sift out the waste and level out the litter. It does that several times. The smell is gone and we no longer have to clean daily. We love this litter box! It is worth it.
