This Autel EV charger Holder is well made. The folded sheet metal bracket has a very clean welded and ground seam to create 4-side box to protect the molded plastic holder from the elements (i.e., more coverage than other versions). I can't tell what "anti-rust steel" is used, but it's some magnetic variant protected with a powder coat finish (well executed). I appreciate the choice of steel to hold the cable (mine is very heavy) because this will much more durable than plastics which can creep under load and weaken with exposure to UV. The molding on the plastic holder is also well done and fits both of my SAE J1772 plugs well. There's enough clearance to easily insert and the lock positively engages. 1. Packaging is minimal and I like the use of brown cardboard instead of white. I think the plastic holster could do without a plastic bag. 2. Dimensions. My metal bracket is 3" wide (a bit wider than indicated) x 9.5" tall x 3.125" deep 3. Hardware. This only comes with 4x screws and 4x anchors, not 6x as stated in "About this item". I didn't think this merited a star deduction, but the 1.25" long screws seem too short and included anchors don't appear strong. I would recommend getting something more robust for your installation (e.g., drywall vs. studs).

So we went back and forth on this style item for our ev charger amd because the cord is really short on the charger we rolled with this one and it shoild work for us a bit better than the one that also hold the charger. That's also because of the orientation of our outdoor plug. It's solid, sturdy and less than 20$ so that my husband won't just the leave the dangling cord all over the driveway when he goes to work lol. Overall it looks easy to install( we have weeds growing in the are we want to clean before install) but it does fit a chevy bolt charger rather well. It clips right in no issue for us! It should function as intended and we are all on board for metal over wood in a outdoor setting

This is a heavy duty, high quality hanger that will neatly store your charger cable. The hanger itself is metal, the J1772 holder is made of high quality ABS plastic. Even though it is Autel branded, you can use it with any J1772 EV charger. The hanger is easy to install, mounting hardware is included. The hanger itself will easily hold a 25' long cable and your J1772 connector will plug in and attach securely into the holder. This is an excellent solution for storing your EV cable.

It does what it's supposed to. Holds an ev Charger cable. It's decently compact and it's nice that it has a little roof over where the plug in is. It won't protect the charger from the weather but it works as a little stand if your cable has a bulky box on it. It's made of metal and has some heft to it, but the part the charger plugs into is plastic. The screw holster lined up well, didn't have any issue there. Overall, a good charger holder.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic wall mount holder for our electric car charger. The nozzle fits perfectly - it snaps right in and stays securely in place, but then is very easy to take out. Not only does it protect the nozzle, but the hook underneath keeps the hose tidy and out of the way. This keeps the hose from being a tripping hazard and protects it from being stepped on and possibly damaged. It's a quick, cost effective organizer for something we use every day - it really elevates the experience because the space is organized and the nozzle is easy to access. The look is minimal and it's quite compact, which is ideal for the narrow spot we needed to fit it into. It's a great value and very functional - the material is very sturdy metal. It will pay for itself just by keeping the nozzle protected from being damaged as would happen if it were just laying around (or randomly draped over something nearby as we were doing until this arrived). I'd highly recommend this wall mount charger holder - we use it daily!

Simple and easy-to-install, this J1772 charger and cord holder works great for our 25ft cord. Blackened metal case with J1772 insert mounted to the exterior stucco wall with no problem using a masonry bit and the enclosed wall anchors. All the metal hardware appears to be coated to prevent rust. All-in-all, a pretty good product at a good price.

I had 3D printed my last cable holder and it lasted 3 years. This one made mostly of metal with just the plastic socket to hold the connector is really sturdy and good quality. I mounted it on the two lower vertical hole pattern so had to provide my own mounting hardware. Not sure how provided hardware would go into stucco and didn’t want to put holes in exterior of my house. Mounted on a metal garden stake.
