    • You’re gonna need a bigger chuck
The good, it works. The bad, the drill bit in the kit has a 1/2” stem. If you have a drill with a 1/2” chuck then you’re in business! But most drills sold for DIY’ers have a 3/8” chuck. If that’s your drill, then the drill bit will not fit. I had to go out and buy a new drill bit for this kit that would fit my drill. ... show more

I got 3/4 installed. One broke off as I was tightening it and I had to order another set.. I’ll update as I go. Hope it hold my curved 65 inch Samsung to my metal stud wall.

    • Great Product, but the Provided Drill Bit Dulled on First Use
The anchors worked great. I especially liked the way the orientation mechanism was design to allow the toggles to be upright and behind the stud. They need to be vertical to fully provide support. The drill dulled on the first hole and nearly destroyed my drywall around the hole. I had my own drill bit. The hole in the steel needs to be a clean 1/2 inch, so I had to remove burrs before I could push in the anchor. The drywall is needed to hold the plastic washer which results when compressing the tie wraps. When pushing in the anchor, do so carefully, so that you can maintain the orientation of the toggle and then pull back to make sure it rests on the back of the metal stud. You then want to hold the plastic end and push the plastic washer back toward to wall and snug it. Clip off the plastic leads to obtain a fairly flush surface for your mounting plate. The plastic will get compressed by the tightening of the screw. You will need to put your mounting plate up and thread the screw in each of the four holes and then tighten as required. Snug the plate to the wall and then turn 1/2 turn on each one. If still easy to turn, maybe 1/2 turn more. You will feel the pressure and know that the toggle and plate have compressed the wall correctly. Also note when I completed the tightening, the screws had play in the plate holes so make sure you observe the level of each whole before tightening all of them. Sometimes you can tighten one slightly higher in a plate hole and then the other slightly lower which will throw off your level. ... show more

    • You can’t go wrong with this one. Period!!!
They are perfect. Very high quality. Not the cheap ones they sell in Home Depot or Lowes. Very easy to install if you read the instructions (sometimes it’s hard to measure and find the center of the metal stud and not all studs are the same width). Make sure you get the center of the stud and before pushing it in, make sure you know that the wings will open vertically You can make adjustments when it’s half way in (you can literally feel as the wins open and make corrections if they aren’t completely vertical). I made a measuring mistake. When I drilled I didn’t get the center of the stud (I was off by a a couple of millimeters. My drill bit hit very close the the left side (the corner of the stud) and shifted it. I could have corrected the error by just moving the drill a bit towards the right but at the time I didn’t think it was necessary. It was! When I tried to tighten, it entered slightly tilted and was still flimsy. I tried to compensate by over-tightening. I ended up breaking it. Totally my fault. I called tech support for help and they were fantastic. They immediately sent me another pair. No red tape at all. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Once I picked up on how to get the center of the studs precisely, I installed all my 3 TV’s in less than an hour. They are a little bit too expensive despite the quality and good service. The pack brings EVERYTHING you will need. All sizes of screws for any kind of TV. I rarely recommend a product but this one is great. You won’t regret it. ... show more
