I really like this charger. I have the black finish, Emporia Pro with the J1772 plug. Mine arrived promptly and was well protected in its packaging. The panel is very nice in appearance and appears to be very well built. The instructions were very good. I had to mount mine outside so the NEMA 4 rating is great. I hired a licensed electrician to install mine. I had plenty of capacity in my breaker box and was able to provide a 60 amp circuit. The only hiccup was having to order the flexible sensors for the Vue 3 energy monitor as my panel had bus bars rather than cables. The electrician had to come back a second time to complete the installation of the Vue 3. So, check your panel before ordering. The key word for the app is 'easy'. Easy to install. Easy to link to the panel. Easy to configure Wi-Fi. Easy to configure things like your local power company so the app can estimate charging costs. Easy to keep up with charging sessions. The monthly reporting for cost and energy usage is also nice. I like how easy to handle the charging cable is. It is more flexible and also lighter than I expected it would be. The 25 foot length is great. The cable holder works well and also protects the J1772 connector well. The charger is working well with my Mustang Mach E. I drive 70 miles a day getting to work and back and a normal daily charge is handled quickly. I'm very pleased with this device.

This charger is fantastic, can't say how happy I am with this purchase. The Vue PowerSmart technology worked seamlessly the very first time I powered it on and set it up. There were no issues at all with communication and control through the app. The Pro charger is built very well and I was able to get full current output without needing to change any settings on the charger or my car. I had a question about the setup so I reached out to Emporia Tech Support. Zachary was super helpful and responded quickly. I would purchase this charger again if I ever moved.

Absolutely outstanding! The intelligent power management software enables this charger to be installed in smaller (125 Amp) electrical panels. Most chargers require an expensive (think thousands $) panel upgrade. This makes the Emporia Pro a game changer. It comes with a 25 cord and a functional intuitive app. Once it’s setup, you simply plug it into the EV and it operates without any human interaction. I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it.

It just works. I had this installed for my plug in hybrid. The app is intuitive and you can make adjustments to regulate when you charge and to pull from our solar panels.

The charger is great. Works great and the app does everything. Just irritated that it took 2 weeks to get it. Try going two weeks without gas and that’s how it is without a charger. Be ready for a long wait.

I did some research on a number of chargers and made the choice on this one. It has an energy management system include in the bundle that will assure a step down in amp usage if it is needed without intervention. It is a bit higher in price but given the added functionality it is well worth the investment. I am using the direct charging model and running at 48 amp rate. So it’s fast and safe for my household. I’m very pleased with the unit.
