We first received the wrong size umbrella. Had to repackage and ship back for replacement. Outside of the delivery mix up, we are pleased with the item we initially ordered. Good color, sturdy and nice lighting effect sitting on the pool deck in the evening. Got this on sale and it is a big umbrella., Pretty easy to assemble and it is solid. Had a few windstorms with it open and it held up very well and did not break. Only drawback are the lights. They are LED but not very bright. If the company were to improve the next model, add brighter lights and a dimmer. That would warrant 5 stars. Just got this yesterday so can’t report on fade resistance- but out of the box it appears to be exactly as described. It does in fact repel water! Lights are bright, not yellowish tint.

I typically have to buy a new patio umbrella once a year, due to me forgetting to close the umbrella prior to a storm and it getting carried away and an arm breaking. This beast has gotten thrown about 30 feet TWICE this year and has not broken! I will 100% buy again... if i even have to. Only negative thing though, is the fabric did fade abnormally fast. I usually spray them with a UV protectant, but neglected to for the first couple weeks. ... show more

The umbrella is fine and works well. The Solar LEDs are bright but only lasted about a month before they worked only some of the time. The stitching and the fabric leave something to be desired. There are several places where the edge stitching is unraveling and the pockets for the umbrella arms are starting to show wear that will probably result in me having to replace the umbrella after only one season. Also the bright red fabric has faded to pink in only one summer of use. My last umbrella lasted 4 seasons before it showed this kind of wear. ... show more
