Wow!!! It’s perfect for my work… I’m a mail carrier and I have several mail boxes( cluster) with no shade. The weather is only going to get hotter and yes I can ware a hat but with this its fast and easy and will provide more coverage on my body. I got the orange so I can be seen from far away.

Cheap Amazon quality. Don’t waste your money on this item. The magnet is not strong enough to stay put on a condenser. It was set up on the unit for 3 minutes and blew off the unit and off the roof of the building I was on. Just buy the tradefox branded umbrella, it’s what I should have bought in the first place.

I used it in an attempt to prevent ice buildup on my Carrier HVAC unit. Unfortunately, the magnet (although strong) was not enough to keep it in place and the ice buildup developed underneath the magnet which displaced the umbrella. It a great idea but did not fit my purpose. It didn't take much wind at all to move the umbrella around also. I'll need to build an awning over my HVAC to prevent the problem in future.

I ordered this magnetic umbrella setup after wanting hands-free shade and rain coverage in situations where I couldn't plant a traditional umbrella. I use it primarily outdoors where I spend long stretches of time working, and it has genuinely become one of my most-used pieces of gear. Setup takes seconds, barely more effort than opening an umbrella, and the magnetic base locks onto metal surfaces with surprising strength. Even in wind, rain, and snow it has held its position without budging. The adjustable angle is where this thing really shines. The magnetic base gives you a wide range of tilt, so you can redirect coverage quickly without repositioning the whole mount. The clamp attaches to chairs, tables, railings, or basically anything with a ledge, which makes it incredibly flexible across different settings. I've even seen it work on a kayak. The umbrella itself is large enough to cover two people, uses sturdy ribs, and the fabric feels durable without being heavy. The one genuine issue is the smell. Out of the box, the umbrella has a strong chemical odor. Airing it out helps but does not fully eliminate it, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. The included storage bag is also a bit thin and flimsy compared to the overall quality of the rest of the kit, though everything else feels well worth the price.
