The charger contains a small colored LCD screen that shows indicators for faults, charging information, full charge, standby, startup etc, connected to a 25FT long cable with a SAE J1772 connector and on the other end that plugs into the electric vehicle that locks & can be released easily. Also attached on the other end of the fast charging battery device, is a NEMA 14-50 EV plug that will need to be plugged into a NEMA adapter so for installation for your home you will need 1 electrically installed to use it at home. The device is waterproof, dust proof so it can be installed or used in outside conditions & the charging cord length charges up to 5X faster & has a good reach with the 25FT charging cable. The current price listed for this product is a fair retail value for this charging device & also keep in mind for Tesla vehicles, an adapter will be needed to use this charging port to function.

It works well but is very heavy. I wouldn't want to carry it in my vehicle except on a long trip.

I got one of these for my husband for his electric vehicle on the go. I was very impressed by how will made this was after opening the package. Everything seemed very high quality and very sturdy. It seems just as well made as the name brand charger we have installed at our house. So this has already exceeded all of my expectations right out of the box. I do have to say just read over which electric vehicles this fits before getting it for your car so you can make sure it's a fit. After doing that this fit perfectly like a glove! We didn't have any issues with connectivity etc. I was very impressed by how quickly this charged up his car as well! We go visit my mom very often and she does not have a charger so that's mainly why I got this for our on-the-go trips. It is super easy to get everything hooked up and even easier to use. It's pretty self-explanatory and definitely a plug-and-go situation. All of the chords on this are very thick and very sturdy. I'm sure that this will last for years to come! I definitely think it's an amazing value for your money just by how well made it is and how easy you can use it. It even comes with a little carrying case so once you're done you can pack it away into the car that way you don't lose any pieces. Definitely got to give this a 10/10 it works even quicker and better than I thought! Plus the charge holds up for a very long time. Definitely comparable to our name brand charger for a fraction of the cost. 10/10 for sure

I have owned many chargers, but none quite compare to the quality and performance of this EV charger Level 2. This was designed for home use, very simple to use and the instructions are crystal clear. The unit itself was well engineered and made with durable material. This is a "fast" charger @ 9.6W which is the max and I'd agree that this is definitely 4-5x faster than the one I own now. They also did a good job with making the display LCD screen colorful and user friendly. With this charger you will use the 25 ft cable. Below, I will outline some of the other factors I considered which ultimately led me to select this one over others on the market. *Design: Simplistic design- 40A Level 2 charger- 25 FT cable- NEMA 14-50 ev compatible with all plug in as long as you use the J1772 connector *Function: this is a very high powered electric charger. The time to charge has significantly been reduced. *Dimensions for your reference: 15.94 x 19.69 x 3.54 inches with a weight of 11.33 lbs *A carrying case is included - this is a great addition, and I love when products come with carry bags Overall, I find that the designer nailed it with this EV charger. It is super simple to use, and does a very nice job with that fast charge. The material unit is well constructed and I did not encounter any defects or damage or bad weld that would lessen the value of this EV charger.
