Is it possible to give a product and seller a 10-star rating on only a 5-star scale? Is there a word more superlative than "EXCELLENT" that I can use to describe my experience with this seller? After initially (and inadvertently) placing my order with a delivery date beyond the delivery date that I actually needed, I contacted ECCPP (through Amazon) . . . they shipped in LESS THAN 24 HOURS !!! Completed installation of the fuel pump assembly (into a 2001 Ford F-150) shortly after its arrival . . . pump LOOKS beautiful (just wanted to stare at it for awhile) and PERFORMS beautifully (always install a new fuel filter when installing a new pump) !!!!! When ECCPP states "OEM" replacement, they mean it !!! . . . PERFECT match . . . PERFECT fit !!!! In fact, I think that this pump is SUPERIOR to the original pump assembly in at least one respect - - the pump float for the vehicle's (dashboard) fuel gauge. The float on this pump assembly ROTATES on the float arm, whereas - upon removing the original (vehicle manufacturer's) assembly from the fuel tank - I discovered that the float on the original assembly is FIXED on the arm in an "on-its-edge" position. The "rotating" float on the ECCPP pump assembly allows the float to always "lie flat" on the surface of the fuel - regardless of the level of fuel in the tank. Intuitively, I think that this might provide a faster (and perhaps more accurate??) signal to the vehicle's fuel gauge (since the "broader" surface area of the float is always in contact with the surface of the fuel, instead of merely the "edge" surface of the float . . . more surface area contact translates into faster / more accurate reading?). EXCELLENT product at an EXCELLENT price - - combined with EXCELLENT customer service from an EXCELLENT online seller. 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew 5.4 4x4. Fuel pump went out one week before Christmas. Purchased this low priced fuel pump assembly and installed without issue. Fuel line connections and electrical plug were perfect. Almost two months later, has worked with no issues. Will update if needed.

    • Very simple direct replacement for low cost.
First time doing this swap. I will point out I did on '02 Ford F150 with a full tank. After watching a LOT of videos debating whether to drop the tank or remove the bed I opted to remove the bed. 1) my tank was full - ~160 pounds 2) no lift just in my driveway so on my back, cold, wet 3) many of the videos stressed "be careful easy to damage" - no such issue going from top side My bed is held on with (6) Torx T50 bolts, (3) 7mm screws for fuel filler neck, (1) hose clamp to release filler neck from bed, 1 wiring connection (back corner of bed drivers side) and 2 license plate lights (twist unlock) IF you don't hit any snags getting the big bolts out it's a 15 minute job (and I'd recommend 4 people to lift bed to sawhorses or at least silde back on frame. I had 1 rusted bolt that broke the nut plate and I had to drill it out from the top (about 10 minutes) to separate the head from the bolt After loose I used a small brush (plastic not metal) to clean around pump, leaf blower to get loose stuff away and finally wet rag to ensure nothing still stuck. Lastly, unplug pump, remove 8 or so bolts, gently lift out and replace with new pump (don't forget to remove old gasket if didn't come out with pump) start pattern to tighten pump back with 1/4" ratchet, plug back in and test (before you put bed on) If works, repeat process of putting back together in inverse order. I will update after using for a few months but my intermittent starting issue (no fuel at fuel rail) is hopefully behind me - 186k ... show more

Works great! My rust-bucket 2001 F150 runs again. Comes with gasket and the wiring socket plugs right in to the original, no need for soldering wires together. Used this youtube video to replace it: "How to Replace Your Fuel Pump in Less than 30 Minutes" by Minute Masters.
