Fit was almost too tight but it did fit. Makes a whining noise unlike the oem. But overall does the job.

Worked less than two months. Failed during a vacation trip, interrupting the trip. Manufacturer offered a full refund for their product, but did not offer to cover labor to replace their defective product (covering labor is customary for most manufacturer's warranties).

The media could not be loaded. Honest review after searching through many parts I decided to go with this alternator over expensive brands. I just installed it, everything seems to be an exact match to the OEM alternator for a 2006 2500HD LT 6.0 (gas) Chevy truck. Everything plugged in great and when I started my truck there was no extra noise or whining. Have taken it for drive around town and let it idle for about 10 minutes. So far so good. I will be editing this review after a few months of use. I plan on hunting and taking my truck outdoors for several months. For an installation note: you may have to slightly grind/file down either the back mounts on the truck for the alternator, or the mounts on the alternator. The brackets fit rather tight, but other than that installation was easy. ... show more

    • Never thought I’d buy alternator off Amazon
I was optimistic about gettin an alternator from Amazon but I bit the bullet and took a chance and tht was almost 2 years ago.. my truck has 330,000 miles on it and still goin a strong. I’m glad I took this risk
