My outdoor glass table used to have an insert along the umbrella hole but at some point over the last year it disappeared, so the umbrella was just scraping against the glass. I was so happy to find this "3 in 1 Patio, Outdoor Parasol Table Hole Cover Insert." There are three pieces, the cap, the top hole insert, and the bottom part the screws onto it from the underside of the table. It was easy to install and it fits and works perfectly. I am very happy with this product and definitely recommend it to anyone with a table like this (see attached pictures).

I am not sure why this is called a 3-in-1 patio umbrella hole ring plug, but it works. My umbrella hole ring broke a few years ago, so the umbrella hole was really too big for the umbrella, which kept leaning to one side of the hole. I never thought about getting a replacement, not even considering that they would exist. Then I saw this and thought I would give it a try. It works just as advertised. It fits the hole, is very easy to secure in the hole, and the umbrella pole is nice and snug in it - no more moving around. For the price, this is a great pickup for your patio table, if your patio hole plug is missing, or you want a new one that looks good.

Many tables have two inch holes, while many umbrellas are one and a half inches in diameter. As a result the umbrella flops around in the hole, never stands upright and looks a bit lame. This plastic insert fits into the hole, and then a supplied plastic "nut" screws on the bottom holding it in place. A supplied cap can cover the hole when the umbrella is removed. This product does the job. The hole in this adapter is slightly larger than my 1.5" umbrella, so it isn't a perfect fit, but it's a lot better fit than directly into the 2" hole. The plastic was a little thinner than I expected; I'd have liked it to feel a little bit more rugged, but I think it'll be fine. Honestly, given the prevalence of 1.5" umbrellas, I'd have expected the table to have included an adapter such as this, but it didn't. I suspect this product will do the job for a few years.

Pros is that it clamps on. Cons is that it doesn't do many sizes. If you an uncovered hole or no table protection then this is a huge upgrade. Plastic does seem low grade for outdoor use but the advantages still stand.

It probably took more time to open the Amazon package than it took to install this. I just unscrewed the basically big plastic nut, dropped it in the table and tightened the nut back underneath the table. It fits with no gaps. The table surface still isn't perfectly flat because the cap is slightly rounded on top, which may annoy my significant other, but the items works as designed. It looks like it came with the table.

This is the perfect solution to fix problems caused by a missing or damaged hole cover insert. It is made of strong PVC plastic and will hold your umbrella pole steady on windy days. It is easy to install and has a cap to use when the pole is removed. Just be sure to measure the diameter of the pole to be sure of a correct fit.
