I like the way that this has an immediate fitting for Tesla and I didn't have to involve an extra attachment or connector for it to begin charging. It connects right to your customary 110-120 volt house fitting or carport plug and began charging immediately. It siphoned out an entire 16 amps which is totally ordinary and charged to my vehicle with next to no issues. Lightweight and the rope is really lengthy too so it made my life simple. I would simply propose getting a few decent strong braces for when you run the wire as well as maybe a lodging unit that you can utilize once you turn off your vehicle so you have the wire to put some place. Stop working after a month. Decide to just get a Tesla charger. Very disappointing. Update: selling responded to replace the item even after the return expired. Stuff happened but it's nice the seller are willing to work with the buyers.

I have a 60 amp Tesla wall charger installed in my garage for daily use, charges the car fully in a couple hours, but I don't drive the Tesla in the winter (live in Buffalo, dive a 4x4 SUV in the snow), so I needed a charger to keep my Tesla charged over the winter, this 16 amp works perfectly. WARNING, if your looking to use this as a daily charger and drive more than 20 miles a day don't, I tested this and my car was at 70% and I charge it to only 80% and the phone app told me about 21 hours to charge it 10%, yikes! I knew this prior to ordering it however, and I simply wanted a charger to use on the car while it's in storage, and this fits that perfectly. The reason I gave it only 4 stars and not 5, it was a bit "finicky" when plugging it into my car, the first couple attempt the car errored with an improper connection error, had to remove it and carefully and firmly insert it, then it worked perfectly. My 60 amp wall charger never does that, but since I will only be using this in the winter I am overall very pleased,

Would not recommend this charger, unfortunately. Even though 16A is slow as is, I could not get the charging rate I typically get on a 16A setup at my home. It was maybe 70% or so of the speed. The cable is also more like 20 feet rather than 23.5 feet. Otherwise, it's a decent charger. If you have a Nissan Leaf or smaller EV this should be fine for you. Maybe an electric motorcycle or scooter. Or if you drive very little and have a long time to let it charge. Still, if you have a regular sized EV it won't cost so much more to get a 16A that gets the full charging rate.

Great portable charger for travel or emergency use. Very easy to use with any Tesla car by just plugging into wall outlet and then to the car. The wall plug is a bit long and since it's slightly heavy it does tilt downward plus the prongs get hot so be careful. The car connector handle is much longer than the Tesla wall charger and does not have as smooth of a connection. You almost have to shake it a bit to get it fully into charge and/or remove. Button on connector easily opens the charging latch and to unlock without issue. The cord is thinner than the Tesla wall charger cord. It says the cable is 25ft but it's not. 25ft includes the cable, charger box and the wall plug cord so cable is actually 15ft if you mount the charger box. The charging takes about 1% every 30-minutes so it's really slow. I do like that the charger box shows charging/connectivity status. Overall, great charger for on the go even if it's quite slow.
