Absolutely perfect. Great battery life, great performance. I've got 1TB Storage capacity and it's perfect as well. I had M1 8/256 and this is perfect successor, but I can't say this has better design or speakers. Designewise M1 is flawless and better, but speakers . . . Speakers are tough. I think M1 has bit better speakers. In this case sound comes from front and it's much quieter, M1 is louder and sound comes from edges and it's perfect. In terms of sound quality, it's hard to tell, which sounds better. Screen is much better, keyboard is better, touchpad is better, fingerprint sensor is better. It's better every single way. Perfect product, absolutely love it

It’s my first MacOS computer. I was afraid of not adapting myself to this OS (I’m an old Windows user), but I can say that is easy to adapt to something really good. The best improvement by now is the different ways to use the touch pad (one, two or three fingers)… it’s awesome! I’m still discovering Apple shortcuts, but so far so good!

I upgraded from my 4+ year old M1 MacBook Air. The M5 MacBook Air did not disappoint. The added RAM and storage plus MagSafe charging and Thunderbolt ports are a big plus. I've been a Mac Fanboy for 30+ years. And now there's an Apple laptop, the Neo, for anyone thinking about switching to a Mac laptop.

My sister loved the gift. Unfortunately, I was unable to see her in person as she opened the box up :(. She said this new m5 1tb macbook air was way faster than the i5 256gb macbook air she is replacing.

Wifi symbol was non existent. Apparently, this is a known issue. I had to purchase an ethernet cord and adapter to connect laptop directly to router for internet connection. This allowed me to set up the laptop. Once setup was complete, the brand new password did not work and I was locked out. After resetting the password 3x it still failed to login. Apparently, this is another known "bug" that can happen. I am now stuck in recovery account mode for who knows how long. Apple online support and in store support were unable to resolve issues.
