Easy assembly with instructions and included tools. I bought this for myself as a Christmas present and am very happy with it. Included two meat probes and the latest PID technology. Heats up quickly and holds temperature accurately throughout the entire cooking process. I took the time to add smokers gasket tape to the outside of the grill where the door meets the grill. Helps seal the smoke and heat inside making it even more efficient. This thing is truly a smoke beast! Great for large gatherings. Bread basket design maximizes space and 3 levels of racks allows you to feed an army. Highly recommended. Update April 2024. Absolutely love this grill with the versatily of having three racks in a breadbox design. If you want to cook a large turkey or a small pig in here you can remove all racks except the bottom one. Thanks to the different size upper racks you have the ability to customize your upper levels to be in the back or front of the grill depending on the side of the item being cooked on the bottom. If cooking burgers, steaks, chops or rib racks the full 1100 sq inches can be utilized. I have not tried making smoked jerky on this but you would be able to make a ton. A very well designed, well built, very solid. It could be improved with outside shelves, a larger chip hopper, although the size is adequate as long as you’re not going to cook past 6 hours without checking it. You could easily add brackets and custom shelving around the unit if you wish. I got this smoke beast on sale before Christmas for 469.00 and I give it 5 stars at that price point and 4.5 at its current price which would be a 5 if it included the extras above. Compared to the Traeger grills which I’ve used and like very much I think the quality of this grill is comparable, given the same company in China that makes Traeger, also makes the Z grills line. Your saving good money while not sacrificing quality. To date I’ve had no problems with my unit. I keep it clean, vacuum it out after every 3 cooks, I keep the lid open during the shut down period to help it cool down faster. Just a little tip there. Oh yeah, the food is amazing. Pizza is wood fired goodness. Vegetables, peppers, all kinds of potatoes, really can cook anything on this. I really love this wood pellet grill and couldn’t be happier with it because it hits the sweet spot in terms of versatility, quality and overall value compared to the larger more established brands at the same price point.

The only issue I have with this product was the initial assembly. The pellet box was so tightly packed in place until it was impossible to get out of the main cooking cylinder. We spent 10 minutes cutting styrofoam away so that the part could be removed and assembled.

I really like this pellet smoker. The temperature control is fantastic, and I don't think there really are any hot spots. I would say the cooking surface area is a little misleading because the grills are so close together you have to remove a layer or two depending on the height of the item you are cooking, limiting space, but it has been fine for what I need it for. I don't like the plastic feet on the legs, one of mine keeps falling out when I move it so I will probably have to put a screw in it to hold it.

This is my first pellet grill smoker & works great! Was within my budget & it's huge for all need it for. It's very sturdy and looks great. Only downside in my opinion is that the pellet storage area is a little small, but I haven't had to do any long smoke sessions. Overall good starter smoker & very happy!! **Update 1/31/2024** Noticing it's not as budget friendly as it used to be! Still a great smoker & quite large!
