After Assembling and installing this on my own (Wasn’t too bad for a 52-year-old Grandma) I am able to keep my window shaded when needed or raise it up and let the sun in when I want. this replaced my very expensive awning that lasted 4 years. Had to do a little adjusting but for the money its good to shade my southwest entry door. We will see how it does come winter in northern california.

The media could not be loaded. I was nervous about this because I purchased it for my elderly mother and I wasn’t sure if she would be able to crank it on her own. She has no problems with it though and it can be cranked with 1 hand. It was super easy to put up and seems very durable. We live in Florida and we see a lot of wind and rain during the summer and so far it has been great!

These work as described and keep out the sun as we want. We couldn't have the curtains open before we got these because the sun is on them from the west, but now we can, pretty easy to install and should be easy to take down for winter storage.

We got this to reduce the heat from the western sun on our patio. It makes a remarkable difference in the temperature. I really loved the fact that no hardware had to be installed into the patio. It's also very easy to roll up during bad storms, and we definitely get those here in Florida. Time will tell about how long it lasts, but very happy with it now, especially for the price.

The media could not be loaded. Love love love this! I have bought so many different products trying to find something to cover my door when it is raining. I was surprised at how far down the awning goes! We haven’t had any issues, and it works perfectly. I would recommend two people to put it up just because it’s hard to get secured by yourself.
