The Wolfbox charger is all it’s cracked up to be, and the price was right. The owners manual was well written and easy to follow, both for installation and app. The installation was super easy. And after checking my signal at the charger I installed a Wi-Fi extender for a stronger signal. The app was intuitive to both setup and use. The app gives you options to charge at a specific time, for economy of electric rates, or plug and charge. What a great option! If for any reason you should need tech support, I have never experienced a better team. Their response was always quick, knowledgeable and kind. They always checked back to make sure your problem was solved. So rare in today’s market place. This charger replaced a charger that has charged only when it felt like it for years. What a pleasure it is to plug the Wolfbox in and see it do what it’s suppose to do! I’m so pleased. Thank you so much.

Look like the equipment works well. I just started used yesterday for the first time. I hope that continues works well. Only one thing I don't like: the delivery time take 24 hours more than being announced on their website.

In October 2025, I researched EV chargers for my plug-in hybrid RAV4 and settled on the Wolfbox WE50. Now, 6 months later, I can report that I made the right choice. If you install the charger in your home's garage you can set a switch in the Wolfbox app to allow any family member to plug and charge without using one of the included charging cards. If, however, you share a garage like I do in my condominium complex, you can flip that switch so the charger can only be used with a charging card (an RFID card that comes with the charger) or the Wolfbox app. The Wolfbox app is cool because you can plug in the charger and swipe right in in the Wolfbox app to start charging. No need to carry an charging card around with you. If the charger is within range of an accessible wi-fi network, you can also connect the charger to the internet, and have it text you when charging is complete. But you do not need to connect to wi-fi for the charger to work. In my case, the Toyota app notifies me when charging is done. Customer Support: I lost one of the 2 charging cards that came with the charger, and I contacted Wolfbox customer service who worked quickly and professionally to get a replacement charging card in my hands so I would always be able to charge with a card, too. I am very happy with the customer service I received. Having said all that, I also think that the Wolfbox EV charger is one of the coolest looking chargers I've seen. It has a very modern shape and is very straightforward to use. If you're looking for a good quality charger for your home's garage or for your parking space in a shared garage, Get the Wolfbox WE50 charger. It works great for me! Also, check out the Wolfbox website for more of their products! (I have no affiliation with Wolfbox, and I am not paid for this review) Hot Tip: Take a photo of the information on the back of the charger in case you ever need it for customer service. My WOLFBOX Level 2 charger 50 Amp is all it’s cracked up to be. My stage 1 charger took 12 hours for a full charge. WOLFBOX astounded me by taking only a little less than 2 hours. That’s a big WOW. The phone app. is easy to use. I had the charger professionally installed which was a breeze. Best $900 I’ve spent. If you are handy you can save at least $500 to $1,100 on an electrician. I did get the charger on sale for $390. So my investment was approximately $900.

It works great. I like the security feature, so no one can just pull up in your driveway and start charging their E. V. When you're not home or asleep. When you have a certified electrician hook it up things work just great.

I can't imagine this thing lasting more than a year or so. I opened it up and the cover doesn't even have a silicone or any type of gasket to keep it water proof. The feeder wire had a clamp but they never screwed it down. The screws are not in there. The charger side had a clamp. The screw head on one side sheered off. The back side that takes the screw is thin to the point any force would just rip the screw out. The circuit control board is thin and looks really flimsy. The mounting bracket was designed by some kid in elementary school.. you have to mount it to the charger first. Then hang it. Well. The top screw slits are covered by the charger . 99 out of 100 people aren't going to have a 90 degree angle screw driver. The idea of a charging card so randos can't just pull up and charge is cool. Not sure if it'll work. The app seems pretty cool. The item came with hard wire and a nema 14/50 outlet. The enma plug doesn't have the neutral which you do not need. But most people won't know there's no neutral . The conductors are labeled "neutral". When in deed it was a 2nd hot for 208/240. It is absolutely not a neutral. I know because I did a continuity check on the prongs and wire. I wish I took a picture of the inside. It's so dumb how they have the line and load wires landed. Instead of all like in 1 side and load on the other. It's all mixed up. I wish I spent an extra 200 for the Tesla charger. I gambled on this charger and feel like I'm going to regret it. The line cord for both hardwire and nema outlet is retardly short

It works very well only issue is the app isn’t always accurate and says it has stopped charging while it’s still charging, but then says it started again a minute later. It’s not accurate because it never actually stops until it’s done.
