When inserting, place the flat surface flat into the slot and place it vertically, which can easily get stuck. Insert the green line(PE) into port B, the black line(L1) into port C,the red line(L2/N) into port D. Press each locking tab down firmly.Be careful not to approach other fingers to prevent being pinched!!! This unit is shipped with a non-user-replaceable cable rated at [48]A. Despite DIP switch options, do not set the current higher than [48]A. Risk of fire or equipment damage if exceeded.

The Wolfbox charger is all it’s cracked up to be, and the price was right. The owners manual was well written and easy to follow, both for installation and app. The installation was super easy. And after checking my signal at the charger I installed a Wi-Fi extender for a stronger signal. The app was intuitive to both setup and use. The app gives you options to charge at a specific time, for economy of electric rates, or plug and charge. What a great option! If for any reason you should need tech support, I have never experienced a better team. Their response was always quick, knowledgeable and kind. They always checked back to make sure your problem was solved. So rare in today’s market place. This charger replaced a charger that has charged only when it felt like it for years. What a pleasure it is to plug the Wolfbox in and see it do what it’s suppose to do! I’m so pleased. Thank you so much.

No Ground Wire or Grounding Slot avliable if you want to add, aka this Charger is going agaist most Electrical Codes in the entire United States, mentioned below. Grounding souly to prevent from Shock and Fire cause my charger Overload. So yeah, every certified electrical technician should not or will not or can not to be hold accountable for the installation as the Equipment are souly up to code. And years back saw how a charger can melt down, and the Ground wire help tripped the Breakers so the fire stop by electric stop supplying. Then, the IPX water/weatherproof rating or water/humid protection would say little to none. As there are no weather seal or sealant to protect the box EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) chargers to be properly grounded. Grounding is a foundational safety mandate enforced by the National Electrical Code (NEC)—specifically Article 625—which governs EV charging infrastructure nationwide.In the U.S., states enforce this requirement by adopting the NEC at the state or local level. Proper grounding safely directs electrical faults away from the vehicle and charging equipment, preventing shock and fire hazards.

If you care about the smart features at all, check the "wolfbox ev" app before buying. Trust me, the apps 2 star rating is generous. It is the epitome of cheap chinesium garbage, with wildly incorrect setup instructions, poorly translated English, and none of the smart features like time of use charging actually work properly. Only looking for a simple charger and don't care about any of the smart features? Well too bad, you HAVE to use the app. The charger quite literally does not work without it unless you pull out and boop a little card every time you want to charge. If I hadn't already hardwired this in, I wouldn't hesitate to send this back.
