The product arrived promptly. I had a minor problem with the control button that changes charging amperage. The unit worked very well at 40 amps, but couldn’t be changed to another amperage. I contact the manufacturer and they responded quickly, and continued to correspond with me to try to work out the problem. After testing, they decided they should replace the unit, and shipped it the replacement that day. High marks for customer service! I also emphasize that the original worked fine at full power. Adjustment of amperage was the only issue. If I need a second charger, this is the one I will buy.

I've been using the rebranded EV charger that is available for purchase or comes free with most EVs and like most people who mentioned it online, mine began to suffer from repeatedly overheating resulting in reduced charging speeds and the indicator light required the ability to decipher hieroglyphics to understand what the error was. I picked this up as a replacement and relegated that one as an emergency unit that I keep with the car. Immediately unboxing it, the quality on this unit was immediately noticeable with a metal casing (vs a plastic casing on my old one) and much thicker cabling. After using it for a few weeks, here are my observations on the charger. Pros + Easy to use (amperage and delay charging both set with one button) + Tons of info on display including; Temp of both charger and cable at the outlet, kWh speed, amperage, charging delat timer (if set), total time and total kWh of current charging session (both reset when charger is unplugged) + Comes with brackets to be wall mounted for both the charger and cable + Easy to decipher indicator light + Dust cap for charging connector Cons + Cable holder is made of plastic, but holds more weight than the charging bracket which is made of metal + Has a connector holster for charging connector, but sticks way too far out when the charger is holstered, making it somewhat impossible to be used in a one car garage and also parking a vehicle in it. I ended up not using the holster and just let the charger connector hang with the rest of the cable. Neutral + Charger bracket is to be mounted which is fine, but if this unit needs to replaced in the future or if you plan on unplugging frequently (as it is a mobile charger), it could be more of a nuisance. It does allow you to freely remove it from the bracket, but even that takes precision because of the thicker cable. I don't plan on moving it often (if at all), so I opted to mount mine with heavy duty mounting tape instead of drilling. If I need to upgrade or replace this unit in the future, it's a small peace of mind knowing the bracket can also be replaced without leaving damage to the wall. All things considered, this unit packs a ton of value at an approachable price point, and was less expensive than the unit I purchased from my dealership which doesn't display any of the information found on this unit (although that unit also came with a connector to be plugged into a regular wall outlet). Definitely recommend if in need of a charger to replace an older unit and you like having a lot of information while charging.

This item is a 32amp Level 2 J1772 EV Charger. This item comes complete with everything you need to set this up as a Level 2 charger, mounting it to the wall and plugging it in. It includes a 14-50R power plug, a 2-piece wall mount and a cable mount. The cable mount has a built-in J1772 holder. The charging cable is 25 feet long making this ideal for areas where the outlet isn't close. This charger may support being plugged into a 110v outlet, but the adapter isn't included thus I'd only consider this a Level 2. It does fully provide 32amps of 240V power. It does not include a NACS (Tesla) adapter, but does function just fine in my testing with a J1772-to-NACS adapter. The LED screen is very clear and nicely designed to provide you the details you need to know about how your charging session is going. There are several options at this price point, thus this is on par with each of the others. I have chosen to rate this product 5 stars. Overall, this charger is well designed. It's only negative is that the industry is migrating over to the NACS standard and this set doesn't include the adapter. If you have a J1772 car or you own the adapter this is a very useful choice. I'd recommend. Criteria for Stars: 1 - Total rip off, doesn't perform basic advertised functions or not product advertised. I would likely RETURN and would NEVER recommend. 2 - Not worth the money. Performs some of the basic advertised functions, but likely not all, and ultimately was deemed as not providing enough value for the money spent. I would not buy again, and would likely not recommend unless the buyer had a very specific use case. 3 - It performs the basic functions as advertised, and has some usefulness at the price point, but doesn't work for all of the reasons I purchased. I would likely not buy again, and would only recommend if buyer understood usefulness limitations. 4 - It performs most all of the features I purchased it for, but has limitations. I would likely buy again and would recommend. 5 - Completely as advertised and likely exceeded expectations. Is of high quality and well shipped. I would totally buy again and recommend.

This charger not only went bad within less than a month of charging my Porsche Taycan, but it also caused it to have an electrical system error at the same time. Different brand charger worked completely fine.
