This is a great no frills charger at a good price. The size and weight of this charger make it easy to install almost anywhere. The 20' cable makes hook up a little easier. The cables are nice and heavy with good ends that fit like they should. No App. This is a big plus in my book. I don't want my vehicles charging relying on or being monitored through a app. This charger works just as good as more expensive chargers but costs a fraction of them. I am pleased and I would buy again. 5 STARS

We introduced a 50 amp 220 outlet so we can exploit the full 40 amps of force which siphons in 8.8kW which is wonderful. That is only 5 hours to take me from 20% to 80% in my EV which my ordinary top off. For those with 40 amps or less it has different choices to charge at every one of those levels naturally or you can choose it yourself too. This is an incredible option for home charging your EV. I introduced another electrical switch in my home electric board, ran another outlet and was prepared to charge my vehicle. I unpacked the charger, mounted the regulator holster and was charging the vehicle in minutes. A thoroughly examined plan and simple to set the charge rate you need.

The media could not be loaded. The 40 Amp EV Charger by Wissenergy, is a unique proposition in the ever expanding world of EV chargers. With its high quality, special looks and high amps, but no features, this is a must consider if you’re looking at EV chargers. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – I’ve seen about as many EV chargers as anyone and this is definitely a very nice quality charger. From the charging handle to the cable and plug, it’s all good quality that shouldn’t disappoint anyone and well above most chargers at this level of cost. I’d put this one in the upper tier of the quality scale for home EV chargers and guess it’ll last for a long time, assuming the electronics survive. II. Performance – This is where your giving up things for the reduced cost. This is a no thrills, no extra abilities unit. It has no screen for information, no app, no amperage control, and no timer. However, if you have a Tesla, your car can do all of that anyways, so you don’t need your charger to be able to do it. This charger does provide 40 Amps of power at the push of a button, all you have to have is a NEMA 14-50 plug. It also comes with a much nicer mounting bracket then most. So basically, this charger is going to give you the quality and amperage of a much more expensive unit, at a significantly reduced cost, if you can live without the features. Overall, I think this is a great choice for anyone that can go without the features that this one lacks. I’m super happy with it and continue to feel like I got a tremendous level of value. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
