Pleasantly surprised at how easy to install. I am glad I had read some of the other comments on putting together. The instructions alone are pictures only, so some explanation was needed but covered by others on here. Once assembled, it definitely took two of us to put it up... But by pre measuring and drilling, it was quickly attached. This house is 120 years old, so was easier and sturdier to use lag bolts. For newer houses, the anchors that come with it would work great. If looking for a low budget solution that looks nice, would definitely recommend. ... show more

put these up over the windows on the west side of our home to provide shade. We did buy a bigger and longer size bolt to attach them. It made them sturdier.
