We just got finished with a big storm that came out of the gulf, and this window awning held up. (notice) that it does need to be place on area right, so it might be good to have 2 people to install it, . only thing i do wish is it was a little stronger in made. but it does the job.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with both the quality of the product I recently purchased and the return process associated with it. The item, which I found to be flimsy and of notably low quality, does not meet my expectations for a product at its price point. Upon deciding to return the item, I followed the instructions provided by Amazon and utilized the UPS label sent to me. However, when I arrived at the UPS location to drop off the package, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $60 for shipping. This unexpected expense is entirely unreasonable, especially when considering the original cost of the product was $79. Despite attempting to reach out to your customer service team multiple times over the past week for assistance, I have received no resolution to this issue. Instead, it appears that my attempts to seek assistance have been met with avoidance, and I fear I am close to being blocked from contacting company altogether. This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned. It is incomprehensible to me how a company can continue to operate in such a manner, seemingly disregarding the concerns and frustrations of its customers. Pleasantly surprised at how easy to install. I am glad I had read some of the other comments on putting together. The instructions alone are pictures only, so some explanation was needed but covered by others on here. Once assembled, it definitely took two of us to put it up... But by pre measuring and drilling, it was quickly attached. This house is 120 years old, so was easier and sturdier to use lag bolts. For newer houses, the anchors that come with it would work great. If looking for a low budget solution that looks nice, would definitely recommend. ... show more

We ended up returning this as the quality wasn't as high as we hoped, but we realized for $40, this was great quality. The option we decided to go with cost 5x as much but had the sturdier plastic covering, so can't complain about this cheaper option.

    • seems like it will work
80”x40”x10” measure from the gutter to the door trim, needs 10” to fit in. Also the mount bolts provided need solid wood/cement to hold on to. My place had T11 so I bought hot dip galvanized Lag bolts with washers. So far, so good. "EASY TO ASSEMBLE” NOT…took 4 hands and lots of work to get the parts in the grooves and then a lot of tape to keep them together until mounting. But, we did get it together and up. We will see next spring if it holds together in the Puget sound winter. ... show more
