I use it to lock down my power panel outside so that it is secure. While I can't testify for its outdoor corrosion resistance, but so far everything works and no surprises. I like the smooth mechanism with no hangups. Hopefully it can last many seasons outdoors with no rusts. Update : After a year of use, been through heavy rain, this lock is indeed weather proof. I ordered Red locks the package was marked Red but the locks inside were Black. The supplier is in the process of sending the correct color locks out. The locks are only secure enough to keep honest people honest, don't expect to use these to secure your valuables.

A very solid lock easy to reset the pass code just four numbers to remember. I placed these outside to secure our property. I guess that we live in uncertain times so best be prepared and secure.
