This commercial-grade deep fryer features (2) powerful 1750 watt heating elements that ensure fast heating and quick temperature recovery ideal for daily use in restaurants, concessions stands, fast food and more. Steel fryer wells come with covers and can be easily removed for quick cleanup. A variable heating knob ensures the deep fryer can be adjusted to the precise temperature needed. Includes (2) commercial fryer baskets and a removable power head. 2 x 8 liters (16 liters combined) = 32 lbs; total = 4.8 gallons of oil. Every year we throw our annual "FryFest" party for 40 of our friends. This is the only time we really fry, but we fry all night for at least 6 hour straight plus testing recipes for the week before. I'v always used my small but trusty Waring Pro plus a commercial 10# commercial Globe. At the last minute I decided we needed a third fryer. I saw this one and figured a double would be better and I would put away the Waring Pro. I ran this one and the Globe all night, frying 10 different dishes. It kept up beautifully. It heated up relatively quickly and had fast recovery. I like the large tubs. A couple of thing I would change: Add a power switch. Make the temp controller a little more precise with a 350 designation. Be able to lift the heating element in to a position to easily drip the oil back in to the tub. I would very much suggest you have two independent circuits for each plug. Plugging them both in to the same circuit will probably blow a breaker at some point. Pros: Fast Heating Fast Recovery Tops out at 385*F Large tub holds lots of oil Removable tubs Two plugs for two separate circuits so you don't blow a breaker. Stainless is easy to clean Large baskets Power light lets you know it is plugged in and power is flowing Cons: Temp control not precise enough A little difficult to clean since you can't raise the heating element to drip in to the tub Some sharp edges on the base and the controller No power switch ... show more

The actual fryer is great and does a very good job . However, the basket is very flimsy and comes apart easily ( while frying) unfortunately making this fryer unsafe for use.
