Yes not working and making some weird sound, tried installing it on my pc still not discoverable same as my MacBook, 100% this is faulty device and they knew it, paying premium fast shipping internationaly and now have to pay the return that's sucks 👎👎👎👎👎 ... show more

    • DOA….wouldn’t work in surveillance DVR. Made weird noises when booting up.
Needed to replace a HDD in my surveillance system. This thing was DOA. Couldn’t format it, kept giving error. Hooked it up to a PC and it wouldn’t even get recognized. Made terrible sounds when booting up.

Thanks to HardDriveGeeks, ill never order another computer part from Amazon again. Ordered back in June & finally opened it cuz I’m finishing up my surveillance system & its DOA. Drive was giving me an error so I plugged it into my Mac via a SATA drive adapter & it wouldn’t even discover the drive. It started spinning, then made an odd sound. Stay away from these guys. They’re pros flipping bad HDD’s ! ... show more
