it does help hearing those high crunch sounds and can be adjusted . I haven't adjusted my yet but I am happy that it last for several days during the hunt. the tube length needs to be slightly longer so receiver hangs behind the ear.     • If you can manage the problems with the ear pieces, you will be content with the $ you have saved yourself.
The device performs as advertised and as I expected. Can’t be so complementary about the ear pieces. Three sizes are included with the device, but none of them seem to stay put in either ear canal. And when one soon works it’s way out of seal, the amplification to the ear goes nearly away.

It works for what I wanted it for . I had the tv turned up high and everyone was worried I was getting deaf. It was loud to me but muffled but the hearing ad clears it up. I use it when I am by myself
