I purchased the VIVOHOME 2.0HP 115V Variable Speed Pool Pump and unfortunately received a defective and unsafe unit. The issue is with the pump itself. It overheats very quickly, blows every fuse it’s connected to, and the circuit board shows visible burn marks around the fuse area. This was not an installation or power supply issue—it is a clear manufacturing defect and a serious safety concern. After contacting VIVOHOME customer support, they initially issued only a partial refund and sent a replacement electrical control board. Replacing the board did not fix the problem, and the pump continued to overheat and fail. At that point, customer support stated they would issue a full refund and confirmed that the item did not need to be returned. Despite this assurance, the full refund has not been issued to my original payment method. While defects can happen, what matters is how they are resolved. Between the unsafe failure of the pump, the unsuccessful repair attempt, and the lack of follow-through on the promised full refund, I cannot recommend this product or seller. Buyers should proceed with caution.

Anytime it rains the pump will not work and the computer screen will not work. It’s an outside device and this should not be the case. Very disappointed!
