On the positive side: the shower head, tube and faucet are good. The stand and box for the tube are cedar( (a good choice) but are very thin. The cedar box is held together by two dowels that were too long and had to be cut to fit (about 1/4”). The screw bag was missing one screw. The platform is very flimsy. I ended up using the plumbing and replacing the cedar box with one I made from thicker cedar planks I bought at a hardware store and a teak mat that I bought online. Now I have a unit that is strong and looks nice. The wood that came with this would not have lasted the summer.

GREAT idea, easy to install, but VERY VERY Flimsy and Cheaply made! We USE it, but we’re Very gentle with it! Very wobbly, and just needs to be MUCH more Substantial! I give it a Year before it Rota, Breaks, cracks or just plain falls down!

This product is a 5 star, however I took out 1 star for one small item that is not defined. The water connector is 1/2 inch and standard hose connectors in US are 3/4 inch the instructions, did not provide additional information, and the Q & A is not helpful also, however after a trip to Home Depot I discovered an inexpensive 1/2 inch to 3/4 adapter which I was able to use, see the photo above. The adapter costs about $2. I would recommend adding this to the product packaging and save people a trip as this product is worth.

The chrome shower pipe is the best part. Several parts were missing. When I unpacked it I was sorting all the parts out. When I picked up the base , two of the slates fell off, they weren't even attached. Two parts labeled "G" were no where to be found. They are supposed to be use as support the sides because they are flimsy . I used some scrap wood that I had in my shop in their place. Something that's not in the instructions pictures (only) is the little rubber washer to be used between the valve and the shower pipe. There is no mention of it so when you screw the valve on it won't tighten up. It was in the bag with the shower head and I thought it was a left over part. Make sure you use the little rubber washer. Don't confuse it with the one with the screen that goes to the shower head.Don't make it to portable it won't last. mind is going to have a fixed location near the pool. All in all it's ok maybe worth only $89.00 or so maybe $100.00 tops.

I use this everytime we get in the pool. We have used a bungee cord to brace it up a bit more against a post. For the value, it's great. Easy to put together. But you must use a lot of plumbers tape on ALL connections otherwise it will leak. But it's still a great buy and works great for us.

The valve won't adapt to anything I have found! I went to 3 hardware stores looking. I ended up just building the whole pipe and valve assembly with PVC. the wood frame is the next thing to get reinforced. Save your money. It is very easy to create. I was hoping it was as good as the one I had years ago.

We were very excited to purchase this shower for our backyard. When it arrived I assembled it, only to find the shower parts didn’t fit correctly. The head to the shower didn’t lock in place and the water leaks EVERYWHERE. I decided to reach out to the company outside of Amazon and the company VidaXL could not care less. Now I own a $150 piece of cheap wood with no plumbing attachments. This company should not be able to sell on Amazon with products like this and subpar customer service. I would advise everyone to stay away from this product and company. I would appreciate a full refund as I can not use your defective product.
