Bought an electric car and sort of put the cart before the horse... It came with a cheap 115V charger that would charge at the rate of 3 miles / hour, not going to cut it. Fast forward to this product, I have 240V available in a few locations of my shop/detached garage. Plug it into a 14-50R outlet and it does 40A @ 240V no problem, can charge from 0-100% in about 10 hours. The other 240V outlets are 20A capacity (240/120 MWBC); I love that I can set the charger to a lower amperage (typically 14-15A when using those outlets) in the event I have to park the car in another spot. Zero issues, works like it's supposed to.

Small form factor but it charges as fast as the wall charger. Good to have option to change the amperage as I degrade this charger in order to charge my Tesla with my home back up battery.. The cable is a little thick
