I wanted to make the IKEA bookshelves pop a little bit as I was using them in a closet. I covered the shelves in this contact paper. It was easy to cut thanks to the grid on the back, everything was straight. Pretty easy to put on the shelves. It was a really quick way to add some color. No issues with adhesion, it was not too strong that I couldn't pull it off and try again, but is still sticking to the shelves a few weeks later. Decent price.

I was so hopeful, I love the color. I immediately loved that it had a different texture. But this has the strength of cheap masking tape. If it bends in any direction while applying it, it leaves a discolored spot like it was a hard folded crease. It is unforgiving. In one of the photos, you can see that it is very thin, you can see the cutting grid on the back. Then the shadow of my fingers from the back once it's off the paper, and that the color is irregular and inconsistant. And lastly, the discoloration and obvious damage that comes from any kind of folding. As I tried to apply a section that was 22 inches long, using the 17.7" as the height I started against the edge of the surface to be sure it was level. I slowly peeled the paper as it went, and because it's as thin and flimsy as masking tape, it couldn't stay upright. That happens with almost all peel and stick wallpapers. The difference is that when this one does, that slight roll backwards creates a discolored spot as if it were a true crease. That shows on the wall! When I tried again, I tried to peel the paper as slowly and evenly as possible, while supporting the paper that still had the backing on it. Even then, just the slight pull of the paper from the back did the same thing. It left a discolored blemish that was clearly visible. Not easy to work with at all. The color is pretty, but it's basically an oversized roll or painters tape. It will get used, just not in the manner it was intended for. Luckily I have alot of painting to do.

I wanted a colored wall that it apartment friendly for my living room and this color is very pretty!! It is very hard to install by yourself, it does crease easy and it will show, so I recommend having a second person to help. I did need to buy 2 rolls for my wall (10ft length and about 8 1/2 ft height wall) it is textured and easy to peal off as well.

I bought this wallpaper for my office. It was super easy to install, make sure you read the directions.. so far so good. My only regret is that the pattern is really subtle and you can’t really even see the gold on the wall.

**Update** Two weeks into school and it's already showing wear. There are some tears where a foot has caught the door here and there. I've used the rest of the roll on various other surfaces in my classroom. It wrinkles easily and scars the paper. So I'm knocking it from 3 stars to 2. I wouldn't buy this brand again.** I got this wallpaper to put on my classroom door. I hate putting paper up every year because it tears or falls down and it's a general pain in the butt. I had the great idea of putting peel and stick wall paper up so I would NEVER have to put paper on my door again. :-) This paper is much thinner than I was expecting for a peel and stick wall paper. This roll was the perfect width to make two runs down the door and it was done. It was fairly straight the entire way with only a tiny bit of a gap between the two rows once I got to the bottom. I just used a strip off the edge I'd cut off to cover it. It stuck well. Downsides: Not meant for normal wear and tear. When I dropped the roll, part of it got bumped and the paper tore where it was bumped. It was small and I don't think anyone will notice, but it makes me worry about the durability of this stuff. I tried to put the piece back together, but it also creased in some areas. Once it creased, those creases stood out like a sore thumb. I had to cut away that section and replace it. My fingernail caught another spot and ripped. I don't think this will hold up to normal wear and tear, but time will tell. Hopefully it does, otherwise, that was an expensive waste of time. I used the back of my hand to smooth out the bubbles--I noticed when I did, it left streaks against the blue. I'm sure that if I were to spray it with some vinegar and wipe it, they may come off, I didn't take the time to do that today. I will just have to watch it and see how it survives with kids walking past it every day. Fingers crossed. I'll try to remember to update.

Very affordable way to add color to your apartment. The lining of the wallpaper has measurements so it’s easy to cut the shape you want and peel and stick it to the wall. Any wrinkling goes away if you use a flat object to remove air bubbles. I was able to peel off and re-apply if the alignment wasn’t right with no issue. Patience and planning is key! I also recommend unrolling the whole roll and letting it lay flat over night, it’s easier to work with without the paper rolling in on itself.
