I bought two of these, and I absolutely love them. My one cat loves to sit and watch the unit clean, with both being used several times per day. Their customer service is top-notch! One of the units stopped working correctly, and after corresponding with them, they actually sent out a whole new unit to replace the broken one. I enjoy not having to scoop every time I turn around, and my furrbabies love a clean box every use. I highly recommend this litter box for quality, function, ease of use, and cleanliness.

Update: the CEO of company promised a replacement, even gave me a tracking number, I changed the review to a better review reflecting this news, but after two months went by, I NEVER received the replacement AND it still says that the shipping label for the replacement has been created. I told the company it hasn’t been sent. Crickets. I emailed them several times. Please — ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE BUYING THIS BC YOU ARE *DISABLED* AND NEED HELP WITH YOUR LITTER BOX — do not buy this. It is SO MUCH MORE WORK. And it smells awful, even ONE day after a full clean-out. It Stinks in every way. And if Amazon removes my review again (it was up for months before), I will report them to agencies who fight for disabled people. They are getting in the way of me letting people know how awful this product is. The fabric is not right for this litter box — litter clumps tend to stick to it. Poop gets stuck in the grate. The company CEO, Daisy Z, will tell you she will move mountains for you, but she will do nothing, even if you show good faith by raising the stars and writing a better review before receiving what was promised. So I am putting back my one-star and my still very honest review. When I raised it to 3 stars, I kept my review honest, and I guess my 3 stars and singing praises for their customer “support” wasn’t good enough to actually ship me the item. Here’s essentially what I wrote the 1st time: No matter what litter I have tried —and I have tried one’s made for automatic litter boxes after using my usual clay litter — everything sticks to the bottom pad. I clean it with enzymatic wipes and spray. I add baking soda powder made for litter, and I also add this fancy expensive litter box charcoal additive. It smells so bad that I have to clean this MUCH MORE often than my old regular litter box. The whole reason why I bought this was for its convenience because I am chronically ill. The grate that separates the litter from the waste has slots that are too big, so so many “crumbles” of dirty litter and poop pebbles come back into the litter box. Also, it is a frequent occurrence that clumps of litter don’t end up in the waste bin and just kind of pile up on the grate. Eventually, the fabric tears and the soiled litter starts going under the fabric. It’s disgusting. It smells. It doesn’t work. And the owner makes promises she can’t or won’t keep. Amazon should be docking them; not removing my one-star review that had been up for months FOR the benefit of such an offensive company.

This is my 3rd automatic litter box. The first one I had was a little bulky and hard for me to clean so I gave to my kids. The second one was very similar to this one, however, it did not have all of the features of this. (Gave to my kids for their second floor and cat). That being said, I had done a lot of research on the automatic litter boxes and finally found one that met pretty much all of my needs. This automatic litter box was easy to assemble, was a reasonable price at $149, has a large collection drawer, and is not very loud, however, I have it located in a spare room used as a gym so I really don't notice. I have 2 cats, one petite kitty weighing aprox 4 lbs, and then a chonker who weighs about 12 lbs and is long and tall. Both kitties fit well in this box and have no problem maneuvering around with open top. The app is great, it gives warnings when a cat enters, tells how much they weigh and you can set it to remind you to empty the drawer after it's been used 15-40 times. The free features on the app are enough for my needs, there is a subscription option that I have not used. The front facing buttons are easy to see and use. I particularly like the "empty" feature. Pros: Large top opening, large drawer, ease of use of app and buttons, lightweight, easy to clean, has an empty feature that some litter boxes don't have or have a guard that has to be manually put in place. Cons: The drawer does not seem to "seal" and odors seep out, when opening or closing the drawer; it can tear holes along the edge of where the drawer meets the box, so heavy duty bags are a must, the holes in the scoop screen (not sure what to call it) are too large and don't collect all of the bits. I have to scoop with a small hole scoop at times. (I did purchase a smaller holed screen and will retro fit it to the litter box). Overall, I would recommend this litter box. UPDATE: As soon as this review hit, the app stopped working (insert eyeroll here). I have tried everything to get it to work again and will will work for a few minutes and then stops. It won't automatically clean, kind of defeats the purpose of the automatic cleaning litter box. Until I can get this issue fixed or find a new litterbox, I have set up a camera that alerts me when my cats go in so I can manually hit the clean button. Not ideal but will have to do for now.

I love this Thereye self cleaning litter box. I enjoy receiving all the notification alerts on my phone whenever the my cats enter or if there's a malfunction. After 3 months of use my drum unit keep getting stuck. I contacted Amazon's customer services who assisted me with getting the manufactures contact information since it was pass the 30 day return window. Thereye's customer service is phenomenal. Not only did they reply in a timely fashion but the team also sent me a newer replacement model to rectify the issue.

Really loved this initially. However, quickly learned that, when it is in clean mode and a piece of cat poo gets stuck on the side, it will stop . The cat cannot use the cat litter box until you resolve the issue. To include it shows that this is big enough for two cats. It’s barely enough room for my one cat. I really thought that it was going to be great for when I travel, but I can’t trust that it won’t stop in mid cleaning and the cat can’t use it. Also, if the Wi-Fi ever goes out, it doesn’t work as well. Thankfully, they were willing to take a return and refund my money. I like when companies stand behind their product.

I looked at many Self Cleaning litter boxes, but I knew i needed an open top for my cats. I purchased 2(1 for each cat) This one uses the Tuya app and tells me when they go into it, how much they weigh, the amount of time spent in the box, the box has sensors and doesnt clean until they have been out of it for a few minutes, I am saving money on litter, and the box is much cleaner, less stinky and so much easier to clean! It pays for itself in no time. I was very easy to put together, My cats took to it surprisingly right away! All around Win!

Have had this for a couple months now. It *mostly* works, but it definitely needs to be checked daily, and cleaned to assist it. It's pretty often that a clump will stick in the rake or up top after it cleans itself, and if the cat misses by a bit the pee will run around the outside of the drum and drop into the collection bin, so the drum and rake need to be scraped or wiped down in those cases. The rake also tends to miss small clumps, since there's a limit on how fine-toothed it can be without blocking the litter outright. Its motor seems to be right on the edge between stalling and working (probably for safety's sake—mostly better than the alternative), and as it rotates, the motion of the litter will cause jerking of the load, so it does sometimes freak out and halt while flipped, in which case it needs a full power cycle to get it back online. It's also pretty high up, which may be an issue for more elderly cats. Haven't tried its app/networking features because IoT is a terrible idea from a security perspective unless you built the Things in question, place them on an isolated & firewalled subnet, and host their services yourself. (And even then, so-so at best.) Also, I love my cats but don't need gratuitous details about their bathroom habits that can't be gleaned from the occasional whirring noises and collection bin. It's definitely better than a normal box for public areas, since odo(u)rs are mostly well-contained in the bin underneath, but it's not a set-it-and-forget-it kinda machine, and where you're able, a basic box and scoop are imo no more or less difficult to maintain. (Certainly cheaper if you're just getting started.)
