While I don't own a Tesla, I thought it was important on road trips with a rented Hertz Tesla that I get this adapter. My travels to Lexington, KY and they only have one supercharger within the area. There is a 2nd one being built ready for the 4th quarter, but it was not available. I am able to charge the M3-SR at Electrify America. There are some places especially the middle of America where Tesla's network is limited. This Supercharger was out of the way and I needed to make a special trip. I needed to give myself other options. The adapter had good weight and the general inspection appeared to be solid construction. Just like the J-1772 adapter, you need to attach the adapter to the charger before connecting to the Tesla. The adapter worked great and it was cool to touch after use. I wish I could have tested out more than that one time, but Electrify America has its own issue with a limited network in general. Please note that this item if traveling by airplane will get flagged by the TSA. Both times, a simple inspection was good enough for them.

We are about to depart on a 3,000+ mile trip, our first long trip in an EV, a Model Y Long Range. Much of the trip will be in remote areas so wanted to make sure we could charge with any non-Tesla DC fast charger we encounter if Tesla chargers are not available so we ordered this CCS adapter. It’s very sturdy and appears well made, and it works great. Went to a local charger to try it out. It connected fine and charged without a problem. One tip:. Don’t put the adapter in the Tesla first. Instead, click the adapter to the charger before inserting into your Tesla. When you do that, the Tesla starts communicating quickly. I recommend this adapter. Tesla Superchargers are everywhere in cities and along interstates, but no so much up In the mountains. This CCS adapter is the inexpensive insurance we wanted for our trip.

Rolled the dice to see if this would work on a 2026 EV6. KIA has switched all there newer model EV’s to NACS. Sounds great but to use a Tesla Supper charger you are forced to take up two spaces. Tesla has also greatly limited which stations you can use. So I have this a try. It worked as advertised. Fits seamlessly and securely. Using an electrify America 350kw hr DC station I was able to achieve a max rate of 221kw hr. Vastly surpassing what I get at a Tesla Supper Charger.

I used the LATOUGH CCS to Tesla adapter with my 2023 Model Y at an EVgo station, and it worked perfectly. I had tried another brand earlier that didn’t work at all, so I was relieved when this one just worked right out of the box. It feels sturdy and well-built, with a good weight to it. I've only used it once so far, but the initial experience was excellent. Looking forward to using it more!

It’s seems heavy with quality innards but I might be careful not to drop it as it’s outer casing made of hard plastic. It works fine on my CCS enabled Tesla’s Model Y and I have used and tested it on multiple Charge point, electrify America, Red E Level 3vDc chargers. Works great without any issues. This is a great addition to Tesla Superchsrging charging so you never get stuck somewhere or end up driving a long distance at 50mph just to extend your range.

Just be prepared to hate CCS if You are used to Supercharger network. First time it worked without issues. second time had to reconnect like 5 times until no errors were shown from Tesla or Electrify America charging station. It worked in the end, but experience is nowhere close to SC. Speeds are similar to SC, maybe lil slower. Also forgot that you need to stop charging before unplugging, it threw some errors but I think it was OK in the end - fool proof. Tip: Use battery precondition if you have an option as Tesla navigation currently doesn't show third party chargers - I use commander from "S3XY buttons" to enable from my phone about 30mins before arriving to charger
