  • Super fast! Great value!
Capacity: 1TB Style: Zero Advanced (Z340)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Honestly didn't even know what an M2 SSD was until I ordered my MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon mobo. Did a little research and found they're MUCH faster than both SATA HDD and SATA SSD, as they connect directly to the mobo. Did a little more research and compared prices to Samsung's version (EVO). I was able to buy a 1 TB M2 from TeamGroup/T-Force in the mid-range for data transfer speeds because it was only about $20-$30 more (at the time). I'll never go back to SATA! My OS (Win10) used to take 3-5 minutes to fully load everything (even start fan control and RAM defrag programs), but ever since switching to M2 SSD, takes less than a minute! I'm able to start programs immediately after entering my password! Definitely make sure you buy a dedicated heatsink for it - mine is a Carlote ARGB LED heatsink. It's the very small bar of light above the GPU and GPU holder, but just below the massive dual-fan CPU heatsink in the video, and the third picture. ... show more

  • Teamgroup doesn't support their product - Read before you buy
Capacity: 1TB Style: Zero Advanced (Z340)
I purchased this M2 SSD because of the benchmarks I saw, longevity due to the Phision controller etc. but now that I have my system setup with this SSD and have benchmarked it many times, I am only achieving 1,700MB/s read and 1,500MB/s write. You might say it's your systems (x370MB, Ryzan 7 1700, 32GB RAM). To also prove it's the M2SSD, I have a Samsung 970EVO Plus that is getting 3,000MB/s read and 2,900MB/s write on my systems. Here is the reason not to buy from Teamgroup. I contacted their support with the performance issues and said that I have done a lot of research and the firmware on the M2 is ECFM22.6 of which is known to have performance issues and is resolved in ECFM22.7 (this is based on other Phison M2 SSD vendors). Teamgroup response: Thank you for contacting Team Group customer service center. We don’t have firmware because Team SSD is optimized when it’s produced. Thank you again for your inquiry So if there is a firmware issue, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. Spend $30 more and get supported product like a 970EVO Plus. I waited too long, I wish I could get my money back on this 1TB M2 that performs like a Gen2 SSD, NOT Gen3. ... show more

  • Really fast
Capacity: 1TB Style: Zero Advanced (Z340)
This is one of the cheapest 1TB M.2 SSDs on the market right now and is absolutely amazing. The speeds are great and much faster than some of the higher-end name-brand M.2 SSDs out of the box. After running CrystalDiskMark, my numbers were either on par or higher than the Samsung 970 EVO. Practically speaking, booting Windows takes almost no time at all, loading Monster Hunter World takes no more than 45 seconds per loading screen, and applications generally load much faster and snappier. With a great lifespan rating, as well as a long warranty, I think this is a great purchase. Note: I've been using this daily for about a week. ... show more

  • nope. spend the extra $10.
Capacity: 1TB Style: Zero Entry (Z330)
ive used nvme drives. i know what im doing. the bios? doesnt recognize. only way its recognized is if i enable nvme raid, then when i get into windows and format it, it looks like itll work but it just doesnt, at all. i spent hours trying to get this thing to write files but windows would just start saying its not in my system anymore and using diskpart it wouldnt show up there, except it would show in file explorer? if i ran crystalmark it would just say 0 on all the tests but would still go through the tests like a normal benchmark. this thing is NOT worth the headache and i wish i would have just gotten the sabrent to start. Edit: completely dead and returned. ... show more

Capacity: 512GB Style: Cardea II
OK I’m going to have to change my review on this project, had too many drive fails, I only owned it for a couple of months this is unacceptable. Stop working on me after installing black ops and cyberpuck onto it. Applications will run fine for five minutes but crash and The drive letter will literally disappear from the computer And data will get corrupted. Clear telltale signs of a failing drive. Cheap piece of junk Do not buy horrible experience ... show more

  • Nice easy SSD.
Capacity: 1TB Style: Zero Advanced (Z340)
It's an SSD, good performance, simple install, good temperatures. It would be nice if it included a cloning tool, but not a deal breaker. Cloning software keys are cheap on eb@y and it is good software to own if you are going to work on your own computer.

  • A lot of Drive that needs an intro
Capacity: 1TB Style: CLASSIC PCIe 3.0
Eeeww - I learned that it would not work in my 4th gen MainBo's m.2 slot because the slot is 2x2 & the device is 4x4 (lanes). So I got a simple solution in a PCIe x16 (@x8) card with an adapter on it for M.2, installed and waited after putting the case back together. After 1 minute the Win 10 had the drivers in and it showed up in Device Manager as good. I then downed the appropriate things from TeamGroup which did have a driver but I only used the ones WIN 10 put in automatically... The info of the drive says you have to install a driver first before installing it if you are using Win 8.1 as it's not Native like in 10. The driver for the user friendly GUI is worth using. It tells you all about the drive as well as the others. It gave me it's temperature! The usual way to get the temp was not available as it wasn't in the boards outdated M.2 slot. The PCIe slot info did not have temp either. Temp was 34°C. Funniest thing was using FolderExplorer to see if it does ReadyBoost and it said the computer was already fast enough. It asked me to set up BitLocker, so that's part of getting ready for Win 11. ... show more
