Installation was straightforward, and it was immediately recognized in my Asustor NAS without any issues and, Large file transfers (8xGB) were consistently fast, maintaining over 1.2GB/s without any slowdowns. To manage heat, I added separate heatsinks for each SSD, as shown in the attached photos. I purchased two of these SSDs along with two heatsinks, and I’ve been testing them both. However, I found that the smaller heatsink didn’t perform as well, so I’m planning to replace it with a better one. Despite this, the larger heatsink has worked perfectly, keeping the temperature below 50°C under sustained caching workloads, ensuring stable performance without any throttling. For the current level of performance at this price, the 980 Pro is an excellent choice. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-speed solution for NAS caching or similar tasks, I highly recommend it! ... show more
