This is a fast SSD. I'm using it in an external thunderbolt enclosure on a Mac Studio, and seem to be maxing out the thunderbolt 4 connection. My speeds are around 3500 R/W. Now I want to buy another one and RAID them to get roughly, the same speed as my internal SSD.

    • Can I use both the graphene sticker and big heatsink together?

I would like to know if I can use this m.2 that already has the graphene sticker on it with a big heatsink. I would like to know if I can use this at the same time . I dont think I should remove the graphene because it might damage the drive. I dont have a clue as to what to do. I feel like I should be able to remove it, but at the same time i fee like maybe it might not cool as well while using both... Can someone let me know ... show more

My original desktop build used a SATA M2 SSD drive and it was fine. When my system started to suffer from frequent crashes, I decided to upgrade my SSD when I upgraded my CPU. The new SSD is 4 to 5 times faster and had a great impact on the overall system speed. This SSD was not on the approved vendor list, but it works perfectly and I had no problem installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro on it. I got the 2TB , Extreme , A440 Pro Aluminum cause it was $101 and said it was compatible with the PS5. Giving it 4 stars cause the included heat sink won’t fit in the PS5, its too tall and sticks out of the M.2 bay. Not a huge deal. Speed is faster than the stock PS5 SSD. Copied gran turismo 7 which is a 113gb game in just about 1 minute. ... show more
