Color: Ruby Necklace

Features

  • Othonna capensis L.H.Bailey - Also called ''Little Pickles'' or ''Ruby Necklace'', a rare trailing succulent with small green leaves that hang on stems up to 2 feet long. The leaves turn puple or bungundy and the stems turn ruby red to purple with enough sunlight, in the meanwhile, white tufts of hair come out between stems and leaves
  • How to Color - Provide 6+ hours of bright direct sunlight daily (1012 hours grow light indoors). Maintain an 4654F day-night temperature difference in fall/winter. Water only when soil is 7080% dryavoid wetting leaves or rosette center. Use fast-draining gritty soil (6070% perlite/pumice) and ensure good ventilation. Shade from intense midday sun in summer
  • Strong Root System - Growing in our California farm, every succulent is carefully nurtured by gardener expert. Each succulent is fully rooted in 4 inch starter planter with succulent & cacti soil mix. They are larger, better established and much more resilient than less-established succulents. The plant container and soil are included
  • Easy to Maintance - Othonna capensis L.H.Bailey can be propagated from stem cuttings. It is no cold hardy, they need to grow indoor, a indirect sunlight windowsill is the ideal home. At least 6 hour sun exposure or under grow light to maintain the color. In spring and fall, it can be placed outdoor to get full sunlight. Shade is required in summer to avoid sun burn
  • Ideal Decor - With a beautiful purple appearance, Othonna capensis L.H.Bailey is extremely attractive in hanging baskets or wall gardens with small, yellow, and daisy-like blooms all year around. From boy to girl, from women to old lady, everyone like it. Choosing it as a unique sincere present for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day to you family, friends, colleagues, etc
  • Important Notes - Succulents may vary from pictures shown as they are living plants and grow differently throughout the year. Once you receive the package, please take it inside the house soon. Succulents' leaves are very fragile and may fall off during long trip. If your plant is missing some leaves upon arrival, just know they will grow back over time

  • Absolutely Stunning and Healthier Than Expected
Color: String of Pearls
The media could not be loaded. I was genuinely impressed when my String of Pearls arrived. The plant was carefully packaged, and not a single strand was damaged in transit. The pearls were plump, vibrant, and full of life — a clear sign of a healthy, well-cared-for plant. What surprised me most was how much longer and fuller it was than I expected for a 4” pot. Within days of placing it near a bright window, it began adjusting beautifully, and I can already see subtle new growth. String of Pearls can be delicate, but this one arrived in excellent condition and has been thriving. It adds an elegant, almost sculptural quality to the space. If you’re considering buying one, I highly recommend this seller. A truly beautiful addition to any home. ... show more

  • Best Packaging for Middle of Winter delivery to Chi-Beria (Chicago)!!!!!
Color: String of Pearls
I live in Chi-beria or as some people call it Chicago. Yes, I ordered a LIVE plant in the middle of winter. YES, it is -20 right now with windchills with snow on the ground and has been this way for weeks with no end in the foreseeable future. And YES my plant arrived in the morning while I was at work. I got home at 6:00pm and the poor little guy was outside in a snowdrift and probably thinking "What happened to me?!?!?" BUT!!!!! There is a very happy ending. I quickly brought him inside and let the box warm up a bit (I thought he might be like a fish and need to acclimate). Once I unpacked him and welcomed him into the warmth of our little home, he miraculously was alive and not at all injured in the process. I give HUGE kudos to the shipper and company for how they packaged and shipped the little guy. Not an ounce of fronst bite, he was luscious and beautiful, still damp from being recently watered!!, and the value for what I paid was INCREDIBLE!!!!. I would definitely recommend this seller for the value and packaging for all future plant purchases!!!! ... show more

  • Has done well with a little extra love
Color: String of Pearls
I was skeptical of this order after reading some reviews but as someone who has purchased plants by mail before, I felt confident I could make it work. It went well for me, but if you’re unfamiliar with rehabbing a plant after being in the mail, I’ll detail what I did for this guy for anyone who might find it helpful. I placed my order on 4/29 and it shipped fairly quickly within a day or two but it wasn’t delivered until 5/5. That’s quite a while in transit, so naturally the plant came looking a little rough. Very dry and discolored. This was to be expected, but if you’re not used to shipping plants, it could be disturbing. It was packaged in a small box that perfectly fit the plant and had polyfill on top of the leaves to protect it in shipping. I’ve definitely seen better packaged plants, but it was sufficient for this guy. Immediately upon receiving the plant, I dunked it in a water bowl and then let it bottom water for about 30 mins. Once the soil was thoroughly moistened I placed it under a grow light and in a clear acrylic box that gives me anywhere from 65-75 percent humidity. (My average home humidity is around 55%) I have done nothing else to him since then. Today is 5/14 and the plant is thriving. It has a ton of new growth, its color has come back and it’s significantly bushier than it was upon arrival. Very happy and healthy plant after a little rehab. I’ll be moving him out of the humidity box today and let him acclimate to normal humidity. I have no doubt he will continue to thrive. If you’re used to receiving plants in the mail and know how to gently rehab a plant, you should be just fine with this plant. If you’re not comfy with it, maybe do a little research on it before purchasing this plant or be prepared for some trial and error. But it’s definitely doable. TLDR: this plant has done very well with a little extra humidity and a grow light. It’s taken about 9 days after delivery to fully come back to life and now it’s thriving. Great deal for the price ... show more

  • Great plant!
Color: String of Pearls
These came in remarkably good shape. There was a little loss, mostly from the burro's tail, which is to be expected and I just shook them onto some soil, and they're already propagating. The plants look great, and came in very quickly. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

  • Do recommend as starter plant, but this item is not as pictured, just to let y'all know.
Color: String of Pearls
My item arrived within expected timeframe, though unlike when Amazon delivers, USPS never takes a minute to run over my delivery instructions befor delivering and I'm unsure as to why. In any case, plant came almost fully rooted and perfectly healthy though it is not as full a plant as I expected as it doesn't even fill the pot it's in (4in) and I know how long these take to grow. That being said, it was titled as a "trailing plant" and it has not even yet begun to trail. But I am mostly happy with this purchase, just a few small tidbits were off for me. Lord knows nothing comes as pictured or described anymore so I try not to factor that in too begrudgingly. Thank y'all for the healthy starter plant. I literally can't wait for when it starts trailing though I know that will take some time. I do recommend, despite anything, however. The plant is well rooted and healthy with a very high chance of survival. That's honestly all you could hope for in a starter plant that has just traveled across multiple state lines. ... show more

  • Poorly packaged
Color: Ruby Necklace
The length of this ruby necklace was very nice and mostly healthy. It was NOT packaged well. There was fiber in around but there wasn't any wrapping around the plant to protect it. So when I opened the box the dirt was out of the pot and the plant was loose the box. Which damaged several of the strands. I repotted it and hoping it survives. ... show more

  • Amazing purchase
Color: String of Pearls
This came packed in fluff which was annoying to clean up, tweezers were required. However, the plant was gorgeous, I had 12 individually rooted plants. I immediately separated them out 3 pots 4 plants each, repottes in succulent mix, and they are THRIVING! Amazing purchase!
