Used this kit in combination with a cable kit to install a sun shade sail. Attached two brackets to the exterior of the house. One end a carabiner was used to attach one corner of the shade. The second point was done the same but with a turnbuckle to tighten that side of the sail. The third point (triangular sail) was attached to a tree about 60' away using the second turnbuckle, a wall bracket, carabiner, and a looped end cable. The long line was a bit of a chore getting the length and tension right. The only issue is that the screws supplied were not long enough to reach through the siding and plywood to the wall studs, and the heads stripped easily if you didn't drill a pilot hole. As with most hardware these days, the Chinese philips doesn't fit US philips very well and will cam out. Thus the one star deduction. I would recommend using stainless hex head screws.

Used these to hang my sail and they broke in a week - I found my shade sail unattached and the springs on the ground. I only had it tight enough to keep the sail taut.

We actually have 3 of these because we were so happy with the 1st one we purchased. Arizona is basically like living on the surface of the sun so I have 2 over my garden and 1 really large 1 over my patio pavers. My tomatoes have lasted longer than the neighbors and my armenian cucumbers and peppers are looking pretty happy too. We would absolutely recommend these, Arizona or not.
