  • Nice heater (in stainless steel)
Style: 48000-BTU Propane Color: Stainless Steel
So far it has been nice heating and relatively quiet after a couple uses. Third time lighting it, we now need to use the manual lighting function…piezo start didn’t last at all.

Perfect heater for our deck and puts about a 9 foot radius of heat. Easy to assemble and we love Sun Joe’s warranty policy!

  • Do not buy this propane heater. It worked great once and then the igniter failed.
Style: 48000-BTU Propane Color: Bronze
The One and only Time that is propane heater work to give a great heat. But the igniter failed with the second attempt to light it. Amazon replaced it. The replacement did exactly the same thing. I have a much less expensive heater that does not provide as much heat. But it works every time. I have no idea what's wrong with sun Joe but they should get their act together. • Blew over once and broke
Style: 48000-BTU Propane Color: Bronze
It blew over & broke before I ever used it & I don’t live on tornado alley. It was rendered useless.

  • Fine for home use
Style: 48000-BTU Propane Color: Bronze
90-minute assembly time for me doing this by myself. The most difficult part was assembling the heat shield from four arc shaped panels held together with nuts and bolts. I would have paid more for a single piece shield, understanding that this would increase the box size and shipping costs. It would look much better and take 30 minutes off assembly time. I would not use this in a business setting. It probably would not stand up well to bumps and such due to the thin metal thickness and all of the screws, nuts, and bolts. The wheels aren't great, either. Be aware the you need a bag of sand, crushed gravel, or pea gravel to weigh down the base. There is a cavity designed to hold a fair amount to shift the center of gravity to the bottom. Heat output is good and spread out in a circle underneath. I have a wooden beam about a foot from the top of it and the beam does not get too hot even when the propane valve is wide open at the maximum setting. Gets a little more than 8 hours of use with valve wide open on a 15 gallon propane tank. ... show more
