Would give it a ZERO!! DO NOT BUY!! Different than pic, but says we purchased this before. This one is significantly smaller than previous one we purchased (that one lasted 1 season) Have to put it in a box in came in as it did not come in marketable packaging, but appears to have been a pass-along (pass this problem to next). ALL plants are dying in freezing weather in our geenhouse now, because the heater part doesn't work! We did check it before establishing in the greenhouse. Working it now...more to come ...

I bought this heater to supplement another heater in a greenhouse. I've used it for a few days and it works pretty good. I've bought many heaters over the years and I was looking for one that was quiet, keep accurate temp, and reliable. So far, it's done all of these things and I am thinking I might buy another one to keep as a spare. It only pushes air out around 12-18 inches. I don't think it would heat a garage unless you used a couple of them. But for smaller spaces, it works fine. I'll update this review after the cold season is past but so far, I'm giving it 5 stars.

My new house came with a lean-to greenhouse, however, while it holds some heat, it doesn't hold enough to keep sensitive seedlings warm, hence my purchase of this handy little heater! It keeps the greenhouse plenty warm on its own and I haven't seen an increase in my electrical usage with it being on just about 24/7 at the moment. The materials are durable and it keeps all of my new baby plants comfy while they wait to be transitioned out into the yard in a couple of months.

Insufficient heating capabilities. I intended this to be used under my bathroom’s crawlspace but once I opened it, realized it could not meet the demand of 24/7 running when temperatures fall below freezing so moved it my 5x10 bathroom. Unless my bathroom door is kept closed, the heater runs constantly and the room isn’t at a consistent temp. My bathroom is at the back door entryway, which is 6x6. . . I live in northern Minnesota and need a heater that will keep the pipes warm under the house for 4-5 months without running the risk of fire and without exuberant energy cost. . . This ain’t it. Plastic blades on blower not a good safety design. And I have several smaller space heaters that work and will return this one. The search goes on.
