I knew I needed a heater of some sort for when exiting the shower. With it being dry in Arizona- the air is cold because of evaporation as soon as the shower doors open. At first I bought a 1500W IR heater and it didn't do the job of warming a body, because it had a fan. That just made you cold because of the breeze- unless you were on top of it. No good! That wasn't what was wanted. So, I purchased this unit, also 1500W, mounted it to the wall above the door to our closet, angled it down to 45* with the included brackets,, and It is perfect! 3-heat ranges, and I immediately feel the warmth when coming out of the shower. I also needed a remote controlled unit because of where I mounted it. This heater is controlled ONLY by remote! It also comes with a tri-pod stand that I didn't use. Great product! ... show more

This does not put out heat as I expected based on the description and reviews. You have to be extremely close to the unit to feel any heat at all even on the highest setting. Also, if it is barely touched, an error code shows and the unit shuts off. I’m sure this is a safety feature but it is highly sensitive. I would not recommend this product. ... show more

I installed 2 of these up high on a screened in porch. When both are cranked to HIGH, they definitely warm things up. At this price, that's all you can ask. If I spent I few hundred more, I'm sure the results would be better. But I have been pleased with these. Install was really easy, remotes work just fine. UPDATE******* By fall of 2023, one of the two units just DIED on me. No reason or explanation. Really disappointed in that! These were protected from the elements and only used occasionally.
