Used this on the days when our three season porch gets below 40 degrees. Well worth it. Small and compact with a year of use I would say. Glad I bought this one, although finding one that can run on natural gas or propane isn’t a bad idea for permanent solutions.

Purchased the Flame King Heater in May 2022 to keep a 3 car garage warm during the cold Michigan winters. Our garage is insulated and it heats up so quickly we didn't have to use much propane. A few weeks ago we were having trouble with the ignitor. We made sure the interior was clean and double-checked the connections. Still wouldn't stay lit for more than a few minutes before shutting off on its own. We reached out to the company for troubleshooting to see if we could get a replacement part. The company opted to send out a new heater even though the warranty had expired. We received the heater today and it worked perfect - the garage is nice a toasty again! This heater does not burn hot enough to burn off the fuel smell & fumes. The temperature is not adjustable.

    • Quiet and warm
It's a nice little salamander heater. It is very quiet compared to most that I have run. It's easy to operate, starts every time, and I don't have to raise my voice at all to talk over the thing. The heat output is not huge but more than enough for my little one car uninsulated garage at 30 degrees fahrenheit. It took about a good 20 mins to get warm and ran all day (roughly 8-9hrs) on the one 20lb propane tank, and it is still not empty, while I was working on a car.
