Purchased as a gift but also own one myself. FYI YOU CANNOT RETURN IT EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS YOU CAN They work great, just as good as Mr Buddy heaters but they do not turn down as low.

Stick to a Mr buddy. The hinge feature doesn’t lock and causes issues constantly. I put a lot of faith in this product to ice camp and it shuts off randomly every time I use it, even on a completely flat surface. I have purchased multiple CO detectors, so it is not the low oxygen switch. I have tried with multiple propane tanks, multiple hoses and even 1lb propane tanks. This product is not reliable and not worth the money. More of a hassle than the benefit. Very disappointed for the money spent. Garbage and I’m at a loss for words. I will not be using anymore sadly. I thought this would be a game changer but it is a liability and should not be used as a sole heat source unless you want to freeze. ... show more

The heat was very strong and perfect for cold mornings outside on the softball field. The only thing was when it’s in full blast, it will only last 1 1/2 hrs then the blast of heat decreases. It uses one can of propane at a time so you have to take one out and change it out to the other. That’s not as convenient but still worth it for the convenience of the compact size.
