This thing is a furnace! Imagine a basic tall patio heater but inverted. This thing is seriously warm. Low is intense at this time of the Fall season. It's great for a large group of people outside. It's a lot bigger than I imagined and is really meant for heating a large area. The saftey grill and base cools off quickly for storage. The jury is still out on the fuel life. But if you're more concerned about keeping your friends warm outside for an event this is a simple inexpensive, easy to store option. ... show more

This heater was great! it kept my team warm once the sun went down. The fact that it is 360° makes this one better than the others. It did put off quite a bit of heat on the Lowest setting. You can angle it slightly how ever when it was angled the heat seemed to radiate up instead of out. Not a big deal. It worked better than I imagined. I have plenty of propane left from about 4 hours of use. Best part was it cooled down really quick so I could store it in my car for the ride home. This thing will heat up a pretty large indoor space but you will need some good ventilation if you’re going to use it exclusively for heat. It puts out quite a bit of co2. If outdoors the heat goes pretty well straight up so that doesn’t work great either. Best would be to pre heat with this thing then use something more efficient to keep the heat. ... show more

Okay, first time writing a review ever.. I can't say enough about Mr Heater. It is easy to set up and the ability to just take it off of the propane tank is unbelievable. No need to figure out where and how to store and move and cover one if those other tall heaters. This one hits the spot. Done for the season? Just detach and store in the garage on a hook or something. Use the tank for the BBQ etc. Mr Heater puts out some serious heat. Sitting outside, you are nice and cozy. And the adjustable directional head makes it nice to be able to direct the heat where you need it. Low, Medium and High are awesome for setting that perfect level of comfort. Mr Heater has allowed friends to extend their stay outside in comfort and companionship. It so terrific that I had to purchase two for buddies as gifts and the Father-in-law bought two for himself. Just remember, safety first when using. Not too close. Also, best to not leave outside in the elements too long after use. All in all, one one of the best purchases I've made.
