Had the system for only two weeks before the base failed. Assembled as instructed. Moved as instructed. Secured as instructed. Seam in the plastic base system failed, allowing water to escape. Will be patching and refilling and hoping for the best. Two weeks before failure? Really?

    • Great stable Hoop, yet full of scratches on Acrylic.

This was shipped/delivered timely. Easy enough set-up and made solid by adding the separately purchased gel fill. That said, the Acrylic backboard is HORRIBLY scratched! I wrote once to inquire about a replacement, yet haven't heard back. I would like a simple replacement of that and then, this would be fantastic. We bought a Spalding hoop, paying more than most portable systems, thinking it would be high quality. HA! Nope it is not. Did you know the warranty does not cover parts? Isn't it all parts? Anyway outs fell over in a horrific windstorm. The poles that hold up the backboard bent. We can't replace the poles because they are out of stock and "not expected in for 3 to 12 months!" It's trash! I would NEVER BIY ANOTHER SPALDING! ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money

Lock system failed followed by base leak after less than 6 months of light use. Have to hold up poles using zip ties. Used bathroom caulking to repair the base. Looks like a ghetto rig now.
