Putting it together took my husband and I over 4 hours because the instructions were not easy to follow. It came super fast and they even sent us a wrong part. Customer service was amazing and got us a replacement super quickly. The lock is great for my autistic son. Stairs are still not super sturdy but way better then the ladder we had. Would recommend a part to keep the door open while you are in the pool. It's hard to get out with the gate closing on you. Also the slots in the gate have been closed so children can't climb them like one did in the news. We very much appreciate the upgrade! ... show more

Everything fits nice and tight! When installed correctly on flat inside and outside ground of the same height, this is a very sturdy ladder. Perfect for my above ground! Highly recommend taking the time to put sand in the inside step frame sides. This is my second of these stairs (first set lasted decades) and I didn't put in sand but instead attached weights under step treads. That caused some green buildup over time if you know what I mean. The less foreign items there are in the pool the fewer places the green can grow - so use sand my Friends. ... show more

    • Be semi weary of the stairs.
It's great The stairs are kinda steep. The arm rails at the top are very wobbly I have feet that have had surgery, so it's scary for me at the top. All in all I think the stairs are good, built a little cheaply. Just maybe not for me. Not worth the $600+

Very poor quality for the price. The edges are way too sharp for the liner. I was going to return the item and then the seller offered a % refund. I agreed but never received it. I waited over a month for the refund to be processed. Reached out and was told they can't do anything because it's been more than 30 days but I have been waiting on them. The ladder is plastic, unstable, and not safe, the directions are ridiculous. Do not recommend you wasting your money. The bottom step are sharp as well you have to sand them not to cut the liner. ... show more

I would have given 4 stars if not the gate constantly closing while climbing the stairs. I used straps instead of sand or pebbles per say the instructions. Putting together was confusing at first but then it started making sense.
