  • Excellent Service, Fabulous Steps
Color: Warm Grey/Blue Size: Base Step with Add-On
The pool steps arrived on time, but unfortunately, was missing one small piece, which of course every piece is usually the most important. I contacted the seller via Amazon’s communication app. They immediately responded and put the piece in the mail the next day and I had it within a couple of days. Excellent Customer Service! As for the steps themselves, I put them together, 62 year-old granny here, all by myself. there are only six screws for the whole contraption. This includes the steps and the add-on to make it a full wedding cake set. So I added a few extra screws to areas I felt needed them. I filled the first part with 50 pounds of playground sand. I filled the add-on with about 25 pounds of playground sand. The sand caps are questionable but when you put the steps on top of them, there’s absolutely no way they can come out. I built the steps close to the edge of my pool deck so that if they were super heavy, I would not have to move them too far to drop into the pool. That was the only time I asked for help from my daughter. She got into the pool and I slowly slid the steps to her. I had her step back and I pushed one last time to project them forward as far away from the deck as possible. They made a big splash and floated. Grandkids loved it! Then we all, myself, daughter and two grandkids (8&11), sat on the steps until the areas with the holes filled with water. Even with 70+ pounds of sand, like it recommends, they still wanted to float. I added two plastic sand containers that weigh about 20 pound each to the under part of the steps. I zip tied to the bar that goes across the bottom underside. That helped somewhat. But after I screwed the steps to the deck, they were solid. Underneath the steps I have to gym mats that are about 3/4 of an inch thick. I placed them upside down so the smooth side is against the bottom and the nubby side is facing upward. I purchased stair mats before and found them extremely flimsy. This is my second set of steps, the previous was not a wedding cake. I used the gym mats on the previous steps and they worked great. The step are exactly what I wanted; something that we can sit on and kick our feet, looks nice, and is easier to enter and exit the pool. Overall great experience with the seller and the steps are fabulous. ... show more

  • Best Damn Pool Steps. EVER!!!
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step
When they say use soap to make assembly easier, they’re not kidding (that new spray-on Dawn is the bomb)!! Other than that (and a few judicious taps with a rubber mallet), assembly is a breeze. When putting them in the pool, we noticed that they were designed for the pool deck being higher than the pool edge. Not the case with our setup. So, I shimmed them up with 4x4s. Problem solved. But — the important thing — they are very stable in the water, and with two rails (as opposed to the one with our old steps) my wife has no trouble getting in and out of the pool on her own. A great value all around, that will serve our family well for years. Downside: Now I’m kicking myself for not doing this years ago!! Great job, guys/gals!!!! ... show more

  • Amazing stairs!
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step
Easy to put together. You will need a rubber mallet for assembly. The ladder is large and we needed 3 people to install into the pool. (2 lowering ,1 to keep stairs down in the water) We did not fill sides with sand but water when we put it in the pool and added 3 -3 inch by 22 inch weights filled with cement attaching with zip ties to the bottom to keep it from floating up. After anchoring to deck the ladder remains in place. My husband is a big guy 300 lbs and they hold his weight. The handles are sturdy enough to hold on to, and great safety for entering and exiting the pool. These step are a huge upgrade and wish we had boughten them years ago. ... show more

  • Pool stairs
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step with Add-On
This is a Great set of stairs for our 24' above ground pool. Attached easily to the deck once it was installed. Putting it together was a little challenging. IF you get the extension that wraps around the Main set of steps... PUT IT TOGETHER at the same time. You will Have to take treads off and re do some things... Instructions were NOT clear about that. You need 3 - 50lb bags of playsand to assemble. It takes ALMOST all of it. and it gets VERY heavy ( 2-3 people to put it in the pool would have helped) I scratched the side rail of the pool installing it. They are REALLY nice though ... show more

  • Works great!
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step
It was easy to assemble and dropped right into the pool. I didn't need to add sand to it like it suggests, but merely got in the pool with it and sank it and held it under to allow all the spots to fill with water. I did attach 2-10LB hand weights to the back back via a ziptie just for a little extra weight and it doesn't float up at all. So far a great product. ... show more

  • Nice inside pool ladder.
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step
The order said about four days to get it but it came the next day. This is an easy ladder to put together about thrity minutes minus the sand which took alot longer. Have two people to slide it into the pool but it's a nice fit in a 18' round to the deck I had built.

  • It’s heavy, but it floats.
Color: Warm Grey/Grey Treads Size: Base Step
This thing’s so sturdy it’s a beast! We have bad knees, so using ladders is out of the question. These steps feel safe, are the perfect size for our 16’ pool, and we love that the steps can curve inward to match the curvature of the pool or outward if you prefer. The instructions state to fill it with sand to weigh it down, but it makes it extremely difficult to remove off-season. Most folks hang weights from them to keep them from floating (we did). These are well worth the price! ... show more

  • Awesome, must have for above ground pool with deck.
Color: Warm Grey/Blue Size: Base Step with Add-On
These stairs are awesome. My wife and I are very happy that we spent the extra money. We have an above ground pool with a deck, and we bought these so you can just walk right into the pool. No ladder, just a nice set of stairs. We have had them for a couple years now, and we couldn't be happier.
