I needed a better ladder than the one that came with my Bestway 18' round pool (though the brand doesn't matter...they are all the same pool). I went back and forth on whether or not to buy this ladder based on reviews. I have only used it once, but I will say that this ladder is such a great upgrade over the ladder that comes with the pool. Some of the reviews stated that the instructions were confusing. I did not find that to be the case. Getting the top platform on can be tricky, so be patient. It would also be easier with two people, but I was able to do it just fine by myself. The pieces tap into place and there are only 2 bolts and 2 screws to attach, making the chance of rust minimal at best. You have to fill the legs with water, which can be challenging, but take your time. I attached it to a 2x6 which I used pipe straps to attach to the pool. The design and stability made this ladder well worth the price. Not sure I love the rolltop safety feature as it does interfere with the first step on the inside part (doesn't really interfere, you just can't get your foot all the way in). The steps are wide, the ladder is nearly 2 feet wide, and the sides are nice and thick. I cannot recommend this ladder highly enough.

Haven’t used in poop yet but I wanted to put it together because of the reviews saying they couldn’t fit parts together. I don’t know if I just got lucky with a good mold but it went together just fine. Used a rubber mallet and had it put together in about 20 min. The safety cover is a bit difficult to slide but I won’t be using that feature much. It is heavy and after it’s filled with water I can tell it’s not a ladder you will easily remove if your plan isn’t to leave it in the pool. The platform at the top is larger than I expected so I’m really happy about that! Shipping was fast. All in all I think it’s worth the money.

Easy enough to put together, however just after placing the rollaway in the track, I realized that I needed to screw together the upper handrails. A small predrill then screw went smoothly on one side. The other side the screw went straight inside the handrail and Not into the otherside.I could not see the head to back it out at all. I emailed the company who manufactures the product Sat. And followed with a call Mon. No questions asked, the manufacturer promptly sent me 2 new handrails..I have not disassembled nor put in my pool yet, but likely will upgrade to 5 stars as a Quality product!

The ladder is very easy to assemble & you do need to be patient putting it together because if you don't follow the steps or instructions you will not be successful at putting it together. It took me two evening's to completely finish the task by myself. It's very heavy to lift & place into the pool you'll need assistance. The Deck is perfect, I love the width & rails, my Grandchildren love doing cannon balls off it. I feel very safe with the security it provides when I close the secure gate & lock it. This is a very wonderful pool ladder worth the price!

***UPDATE** we finally got the ladder top piece down by sledge hammering it really good I mean really good .. it’s took forever to get it but we got it. We did contact seller and they did reach out rather quickly to help resolve so other than if taking forever to put together with lots of cuss words but we got it ! Good Sturdy upgrade from the stock ladder the pool came with Cannot get the top railing to flush with the steps . Watched multiple YouTube videos, and it appears that ours has a manufacturing defect since they dont align. The plastic seems sturdy and will work amazing IF we could get the plastic to align properly. We have troubleshooted and tried everything it seems to try to get the feet aligned with the handles to flush but it’s off in my pictures I’m trying to show one side flushed and the other can’t get aligned at all. Ladder is so big it not even sure how we can send it back

I will add a photo once i get a good sun view of it. its not Warm gray its more of a sandy beige color. kind of disappointed because it doesn't match our pool or yard stuff whatsoever. its also a little on the wobbly side. my kids who are 6 and 10 aren't liking it so far. when the slider part is rolled into the inside of the pool, it makes it difficult for them to use that side. im going to try to make it to where its more stable if possible. it was easy to get together. took less than 15 minutes. i don't think this is the one for us but i will give it a week or so to see if its user error

Just put this together and in our pool. You have to fill it with water (we missed that step)! It's sturdy, and I feel comfortable getting up and down. I'm only 130lbs, my husband is 200lbs and the ladder shows no difference with either of us getting in and out of the pool-it's stable for both of us. We have set up the stabilizer bars as we haven't needed them as of yet but may as summer goes on. We ordered the warm grey and looks more like a light cream? Works well with our pool, as that is our top rail color. The roll is a little tough, but we are hopeful as summer goes on it gets easier to move back and forth. I love that I can lock it once in place. I feel so much safter with this ladder as an extra barrier to get to the pool.

The ladder was very easy to put together. It is sturdy. We are using it on a round tube rectangular pool. I am going to make up a way to secure it to the ground. We are very happy with the ladder.
