We bought this ladder to replace a terrible one that came with our 52inch pool. I was hesitant because the price was SOOOO good, but after reading a lot of reviews we decided to do so. I can't say enough GREAT things about this ladder. 1) Set up--SUPER EASY. All the parts were clearly labelled and it took my husband and I about an hour to put it all together. 2) STURDY! It's very sturdy, the stairs fit snuggly, the platform is the perfect width and it was very easy to climb in and out of the pool. 3) SAFETY! I love that you can removed the steps that lead into the pool. No need to worry about safety issues when you aren't using the pool. Just pop the steps out and no one is getting on that ladder. If you are reading this, have a 52inch pool and are looking for a GREAT ladder for a GREAT price ($100) BUY IT NOW! You will NOT be sorry. Bravo Intex--you never disappoint. ... show more

Love the ladder! Its durable! It took a little while to put together but it wasn't difficult! I was able to assemble by myself. Has taken a lot of play this summer with almost daily use and still in great shape! Great value for the money

In my opinion, this is a great choice for your above ground pool. This ladder has a double bar in front for added support which stablizes the ladder and this makes a big difference. It's not wobbly when climbing up or down for kids or adults who are within the weight allowance. We are using this in a 52 inch, steel frame, copper canyon pool. Another nice thing is this ladder's slim line design and construction. It's light weight and easy to remove daily. It has a saftey feature to protect small children from using it without supervision. In comparison, last year we purchased very expensive plastic pool steps which had a lot of surface area and side weights to hold it in the pool. It was a complete waste of money. We couldn't easily remove it from the pool. The result was algae build up inside the ladder which almost wrecked our pool. In the end we lost $$$ but this ladder has none of those concerns and we're very happy with the quality. ... show more
